Sorry if this reads like an ad, but I thought I'd publicise http://www.18185.co.uk

They charge only 1.5p per minute to Thailand, to a mobe or a landline, and offer access from a BT phone, a cable phone, Talk Talk, your mobile, etc etc.

I use it every time i talk to my waan jai.

Read their website and see what you think. They have never ripped me off (which is more than i can say for my gas and 'leccy companies)

I used to use them until I found www.localphone.com.
Join them deposit some money and you can set up any number to a local number to where you are.

Calls are 1p per minute and texts are 1p each.

Ithink there are cheapter alternatives on the internet. I dont have a link off the top of my head but they involve dialing a mobile number locally which then connects you to the the internet calling net.

When in Europe I use Skype (Skype to Skype) becaause is free.
However, lycamobile does a very good deal at 1/2 pence per minute.
Their sim cards can be purchased at a UK post office and topped up at many convenience stores.
Also, if you and your sweetheart have android based mobiles or IPhones, then try downloading VIPER and you will be able to make free calls on VOIP (free over the internet).
