Should a trip to Pattaya be on the bucket list
for a newbie? Or is Bangkok enough to handle

I do love to be in Bangkok - lived there a while a few years ago but i would say that Pattaya is a must. I reccomend you to join the sister board Pattaya Addicts and read up as much you possible can!

If you are only here for a short trip then definitely Patts. If you are here a bit longer then do your own research by doing both! Who says you need to choose as it is only a two hour cab ride between the two.
Have fun, it isn't that tough.

Yeah, if it's only a short stay? Get down to Patts, theirs more of everything!!! you can always do Bkk for a day or two on the way home, sorry on the way back to your 'country'!!! :P

I would recommend that you check out both. I was there last month and I enjoyed the pace of life better in Bangkok. I also thought that the women were better looking in Bangkok.

I prefer Bkk but still visit both.
