In various parts of the world where street food is common it advertises itself, if the stall is busy it's usually because it's selling good food that people want to eat. I ate a lot of street food in HK last trip and you soon get to know which stalls are the best, lets face it if you ate something that left you sitting on the pan for two days you aint going back there again!

Have seen it reported in UK news that there was a fairly large earthquake in the north of Thailand, one station reports that it affected areas of Bangkok, so has any of our BM's felt the 'earth move' in Bangkok :P

You take wonderful photos PC with really vibrant colours, whenever I try to take photos like that they're always dull and washed out :mellow: Out of interest what camera do you use?

News reports here (UK) are suggesting that this is escalating into more widespread violence, it that the case or is it still just Govt bashing?

Or, indeed, during... :P

I'm sure there will be someone who'll have a horror story about Bangkok, just as you'll find the same story about any major city, don't act like an arse and expect to get away with it. Remember you're a guest in their country so treat it with respect.

Will try and remember these suggestions, I'm a sucker for Indian food when travelling but sometimes the lack of local knowledge makes for an 'interesting' day or two afterwards... :o
