  2. Hi, I've got some spare Marriott points and an incentive coupon, but I've never used points for expat apartment/mongering combo. It looks like there is a new Marriott Executive Apartments that opened on Soi 24 near Wash Sq. (This is different than the Lumpini Park/Mayfair and Sathorn locales). http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bkksp-sukhumvit-park-bangkok-marriott-executive-apartments/ Questions: Has anyone tried the other executive apartments? Joiner fees or GF? Any idea if the joiner fee would be more than the actual cost savings? FWIW, I know the JW is a different scenario but my coupon is better served with the apartments (as I can get a 2bdrm and bring a buddy along). My initial thought is to take my buddy to Pattaya and get two rooms at a cheaper place than normal and keep the coupon for later. Any feedback???
  3. Captain, I was going to make a smart aleck remark, but instead I'll provide a suggestion. If the address is [email protected], then it's a good chance the website is . . . http://www.grottino.com/
  4. Which way are you traveling? It can make a difference if flying via Europe or transpacific. Basically, if going via west coast, your best option is to take a flight that departs in the evening from US and lands during the day in Asia. Try to adjust your sleep habits a bit before you depart. (go to sleep and wake up earlier a couple of weeks prior) Don't sleep the day before you go. During the flight take short naps based on nighttime in LOS and drink lots of water. Land during the day and stay awake (all day). You'll be exhausted but don't go to sleep until 9pm or so. You should wake up 10-12 hours later fully sync'd.
  5. Bryan, I'm sure you're still working like gangbusters to get the replication finished, but here is another item that is either on your list and you haven't gotten to or needs to be updated. The last large section that I see is the tourist section. You might want to change it to say Bangkok instead of Pattaya. Current: Thailand Tourist & Tourism Information (Areas Other Than Pattaya) No Swearing, Nudity or Bar Girl chat allowed in this area. Assumed: Thailand Tourist & Tourism Information (Areas Other Than Bangkok) No Swearing, Nudity or Bar Girl chat allowed in this area. I know it's minor, but . . .
