Yep was always the best, but suspect they are pushing these street vendors away. Some still down near the construction sites when I was there last time. Soi 11 street food vendors, gone but not forgotten. RIP

Aloft and Le Fenix both gf. Aloft much nicer than Le Fenix which is tired looking now, rooftop bar area ok and cheaper than Aloft if money is an issue.

Phachara suites.

Stayed Prachara a few weeks back with a mate. On the front desk they have a sign that says no charge for first joiner, but charge 1000 for each additional joiner in 24 hour period. I didn't play with any girls but my mate brought back two girls a day for two days, he signed the document they give him re responsibility for damage and ID cards for girls (they had to provide these) were taken. On checkout he was expecting to pay 2000 baht for two extra joiners but was not charged. Prachara was great, Exec studio rooms big, great location for gogo bars. Only complaint is a very slow lift especially if you are staying on high floors.
