  1. On location alone I would choose either the Sofitel, Westin, Grand Centre Point T21, or Radisson Blu because all are a short walking distance to and from Cowboy with a girl. No taxis needed. But free accomodation at the Hilton is a great plus. It will leave you with more money to spend on girls and booze. Besides, the Hilton location is not bad. It is very close to the Soi 24-Soi 26 Oily massage parlors for some afternoon fun and Em Quartier Mall where a Thai lunch at the food court is inexpensive and very good. Then for the evening entertainment you could walk to Cowboy, but I think you will be much better off and a lot less sticky taking the BTS or a motorcycle taxi there. Bringing Go Go girls back from either Nana or Cowboy to the Hilton is not a problem. That is what taxis are for. No bar girl will mind. Just take a moving taxi, not a parked one and insist on a meter. Your girl can do the talking. If the Sofitel is also free on points to you, then you will probably be a little better off here. I think you will still have to take a taxi to bring a girl back from Nana, but a taxi is not needed from Cowboy. For afternoon recreation you will want to take the BTS to and from the soi 24 oily massage parlors.
  2. Always shop around. Prices can vary widely and change daily. But yeah, Agoda is pretty good. Their best price is available on signing in. Other sites may beat Agoda at times on specific hotels so again its wise to shop around as early as you can before your trip. And always compare apple to apples. Agoda and most other sites (Expedia, Orbitz and the Hotel sites themselves) show preliminary prices before taxes and service fees are added in. Booking dot com is the only travel site I know that by default shows its prices after taxes and service fees, BUT NOT ALWAYS! So pay attention to the details. Reward Points do make a difference and all the travel sites try to encourage repeat business with point benefits. Many large chain hotels like Marriott, Hyatt, or Hilton for example offer credit cards that help accumulate reward points faster and some credit cards come with free annual voucher nights although these voucher nights are offset by an annual fee. Free room upgrades when available are another benefit from having hotel credit cards and booking direct. If service fee & taxes are not included in the preliminary quote then the Inclusive Full Price = the Quoted Price x (1+tax and fees). Example: $100 x (1.17) in BKK where service fee 10% (.1) and tax and 7% (.07). If service fee & taxes ARE included in quoted price then the comparative preliminary non inclusive price = (1/1+(service fee and tax))* Inclusive price. Example: the non inclusive price = $117*(1/1.17). Which equals $117*.8547 = $100 (the non inclusive price). This equation needs to be performed if you want to compare an inclusive Booking dot Com quoted price to an Agoda or Expedia price before service fee and tax. The travel sites that do not give an Inclusive price initially are not trying to rip you off. The full price inclusive of all service fees and taxes will always be shown on the final page before completing a booking. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN FEES on the major travel booking sites. The same service charge & governement tax as a percentage will be applied universally to your final bill no matter which site you book with. In BKK the charges amount to 0.17. Furthermore, most travel sites offer a no deposit, no penalty, free cancellation reservation, but sometimes significantly better rates are available on a prepay, no free cancellation basis. The choice is up to the customer. Again the main thing is to shop around as early as you can before your trip and compare at least 3 major travel sites and the specfic hotel sites themselves if you want to get the best deal. I recommend Agoda, Expedia, Booking dot com, and the hotel websites if you are interested in a specific hotel. And lastly, sometimes the best deals are last minute deals, so if you haven't booked and you are inside the final 7 day window to your arrival, you may luck out and get an amazing deal. Then again you might not. Happy hunting.
  3. A one bedroom apartment rental can offer a very luxurious space to inhabit and entertain our sexy little friends. I like exec apartment hotels like Marriott Park, Fraser, and Column for that very reason. The major advantages of an exec apartment hotel over an AirBNB apartment is daily maid service and an on premises restruarant.. The major advantage of AirBNB is their price is usually cheaper than exec hotel apartments. Before booking, however, be very sure about the owner's guest friendly policy. Some owners do not allow overnight guests unless they are registered on the rental agreement.
  4. I like the Radisson Blu too and I agree with Hermansen's review above. I am a member of Club Carlson and have their CC, so I get free voucher nights. points, and room upgrades when they are available. Pool is not large, but its not crowded either when I like to go in the mid afternoon. The roof top bar is nice and serves interesting craft beers. There is a good Italian restuarant on the 25th floor or thereabouts. GF: I have taken my two favorite Crazy House girls up to my loom for menage a trois on many occasions. The front desk never batted an eye. The Blu is a good hotel.
  5. Me too. Except on special ocasions I throw down only a couple shots of Tequila with my girls on a nightly basis and perhaps a beer or two with dinner or nothing at all. I have found that although I enjoy getting wasted with girls as much as anyone, on too much alcohol I get sloppy in bed and am not as good a performer. I also have found that a shot or two of Tequila works wonders on a girl and loosens things up really good. But again, too much Tequila and you are stuck with a girl passing out or in the bathroom if you know what I mean. Moderation is good. It only took me 30 years to figure it out. 555.
  6. YouStreet, I have done a little research on Yangon, I do not know if I am allowed to post the source of my information, but here are some of the most promising leads I have found: Pioneer (Yangon International Hotel), Club 5 (Downtown), DJ's Bar (Inya Lake Hotel), JJ Entertainment (Mingalar Mon Market), Asia Entertainment City (Mingalar Mon Market), and Emperor KTV (Chinatown). Friends have told me that Emperor is the most popular club in town for girls, but its very dark inside. Club 5 at the Parkroyal Hotel is more expensive but apparently worthwhile because many "high class" FL's go there. I believe it is quite easy to pick up girls in Yangon. I am not sure on the quality. I think the quality might vary greatly. I think we would both love to hear from other BM's with actual mongering experience in Yangon. Thanks in advance.
  7. Hobo, Let me explain something to you. Flights between BKK and Phnom Penh, KL, and or Yangon are short (around an hour duration) and cheap (around $100 round trip). In addition Phnom Penh, KL, and Yangon all have lots of Asian poontang at reasonable prices. That is why I consider them viable visa runs. While Darwin may be an interesting destination in its own right and possibly have some nice girls, I do not know, it does not qualify as a good choice for a visa run from BKK on either of the two major counts because the flights are long (9 hours was the shortest duration flight each way) and not cheap ($350 was the cheapest roundtrip) I found on Google Flights. So I don't know what you are talking about, but enjoy BKK and don't drink too much booze.
  8. Marriott Thonglor Executive Apartments & Marriott Sukhumvit Park Executive Apartments The Marriott Thonglor is actually 2 hotels. I like the Marriot Executive Apartments at the Marriott Thonglor which occupy the lower 12 floors I believe. A 1 bedroom apartment in the Executive Apartments with full kitchen, living room and bedroom is good for me and probably perfect for a young family of 3 although you might be interested in the 2 bedroom option. I book way in advance. I pay between 2880 to 3100 baht for the 1 bedroom apartment dealing directly with Marriott because I am a Marriott Rewards member and have Marriott CC so I get the best rates and recieve points for my Marriott Stays. I find the best deals are usually through Marriott (see my prices above) although other booking sites can sometimes beat Marriott on a short opportunity window. The Octave Rooftop bar is very cool. You can sit at tables right on the edge of the precipice. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel. The "coffee shop" has excellent buffet breakfasts. The hotel is 1 block from the Thonglor BTS for easy transport to the nighlife. Thonglor and Ekamai is a very nice upscale neighborhood with plenty of quality restaurants and bars (not pick up bars although there are some G-Clubs and discos in close proximity.) Just make sure you are booking the Marriott Thonglor Executive Apartments and not the Marriott Thonglor Hotel. Both hotels share the same facilities - lobby, pool, bar, restarurants, and exercise room. Different elevators service the apartments vrs the hotel rooms. Another great option is the Marriott Park Executive Apartments Hotel on Soi 24. The 1 bedroom apartments here are more spacious than the Executive apartments at the Thonglor hotel. I pay a litte more to stay here - 3100 baht. No rooftop bar, but nice pool. Up to you. I like both hotels.

    Visa Run

In March, 2017 I did a 3 day visa run from BKK to Phnom Penh. I met a couple of great Khmer girls on this trip, one of which is on my top 5 list of 2017. Thus I am strongly inclined to take another visa run to Phnom on my next trip, but as I am in the planning stages I am also considering a couple of alternatives. Alternative #1: Kuala Lumpur. My thinking is to fly BKK to KUL, whoop it up and spend the weekend there, and then fly KUL to Krabi and spend a week in the sun on some Thai beach and possibly flying down one of my long time sexy BKK friends to keep me company before returning to BKK. Alternative #2: Yangon. I was in Burma seven or eight years ago. I went to Mandalay, Bagan, and Yangon. Remarkably I did not punt while in Yangon, so I have never had the pleasure of knowing a Burmese girl. My idea is fly BKK to Yangon, hit the bars over the weekend, then either fly back to BKK or take 4 or 5 days off and relax on Ngapali Beach solo. I should probably add that my next trip like my spring 2017 trip will be for 11 weeks and roughly I will be spending 5 or 6 weeks in BKK, 2.5 weeks in Jakarta, 1 to 2 weeks in MNL, and 5 nights in Macau. I no longer fly round trip. I pay the airlines a litle extra and enter Asia thru either BKK or MNL, proceed clockwise or counter clockwise until I reach my final destination, and then leave. This yields the shortest duration, most direct flights to and from Asia for me situated in the south Florida, USA. I am open to suggestions on where to go on my next Visa Run. I know Phnom Penh and KL pretty good having been to both places numerous times. I never mongered in Yangon, but I have done my homework and have a good idea of where I would go to pick up local girls. What do you guys think? Would Yangon be worth my time and money or should I just go back to Phnom and have a for sure great little visit?
  10. I have eaten here for lunch The food is good. I had the grilled chicken, of course, and som tom. One of my long time regular girls likes Banrie Bai Prao Bork on the corner of NE corner Sukhumvit and Ekamai. This ia a very popular, large, open air, Isan restaurant that features nightly live music and a huge menu. The various whole fish dishes and the soups are great. The som tom is hot. Good thing the beer is cold and kept on ice. .
  11. Generally I think the food gets better and more authentic the farther you travel away from lower Sukhumvit. But that said, I like the Khao Soi Gai at Chilli Culture. Good Khao Soi is hard to find in BKK for some reason, so its good to know that a decent version of this northern Thai classic dish is available on the 11. But be careful when ordering at Chilli. Many dishes are bland and not really tasty. Stick with the northern fair and you will be happy. I used to enjoy eating at the rollaway carts on Soi 11, but I think they may be gone now. But like I said above the food gets better the farther away you go from the 11 and the same is true for roll away cart restaurants ie. there are better roll away cart restaurants like the ones on Sukhumvit just past Thonglor (Soi 55). The Thonglor cart restaurants not only have better food, they are significantly cheaper. Back on Soi 11: I am not a fan of Rosabieng. Don't say I didn't warn you. This restaurant is infamous IMHO for serving not good, watered down versions of classic Thai dishes. As far as western grub on the 11 goes: 99% or the time I prefer to eat Thai when I am in Thailand, but on those rare occasions when I have a craving for western food: I like the burgers and pizza at Oskar's and likewise I think Firehouse serves up a tasty burger too. P.S. as the night wears on, you can occasionally spot some attracive FL's hanging out at Oskar's bar. It is worth a look see if you are in the neighborhood and in the mood.
  12. G-clubs are not for everybody. For one, they are expensive, but for two, the girls are top tier. Now whether it is worthwhile to spend time and money in one of these places depends primarily on your time horizon, the size of your wallet, and the quality of girl you are after. For short time visits G-Clubs are probably not worth the money since as you point out, immediate sexual gratification is usually not on the menu. But for expats and longer term BKK residents, G-clubs can be an excellent source for high quality girls. 1st, visit a G-Club or two, spend a couple of hours as a guest, get to know the ropes, make the acquaintance of a couple of really good looking girls, buy them drinks, and let them entertain you in house for a couple of hours as you enjoy the show. Then decide if this style of entertainment is something you might be interested in. If the answer yes, buy an annual membership at a your favorite G-Club like Pimp Club or Sherbert. I almost guarantee you that after a few visits as a member you will gain off site access to their pussies. https://www.facebook.com/ThePimpBangkok/
  13. I agree totally with Diabolic and davvvid. If I were planning to live in BKK for 6 to 12 months, I would look for a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom condo apartment to rent in the area bounded in the south by Sukumvit up to Phetchaburi in the north and from Sukhumvit Soi 23 in the west all the way up to Ekamai (Soi 63) in the east. I would require a well maintained building with a nice swimming pool and 24 hour security. The good news is that there is a large selection of really nice rental units that fit that description at various price points in this broad area and I am certain that I would have no problem living somewhere around Thonglor (Soi 55). In fact I think I would really like it. During the day this area is trendy, upscale, and pleasant to walk around in like a Thai version of the upper west side of Manhattan. At night there are all kinds of great restaurants, bistros, bars, nightclubs, and G-clubs, but nothing too raunchy. 555. And anytime I want it, Soi 24 massage parlors, Cowboy, Nana are only a few BTS stops away or only a few minutes travel time by motocycle taxi. You want to live the good life in BKK? This is where it is at.
  14. Thanks guys for clearing that up for me. No pun intended. So I think I will stick with Ko Samui or Phuket when I want to combine a little credible nightlife with beautiful playas and Bring MY Own girl along when I want to opt for more natural less developed beaches like Ko Lipe or my personal favorite, the beautiful, almost deserted beaches on Palawan, PI.
  15. Having never visited Hua Hin I am interested in this topic because I have previously wondered what a 3 or 4 day side trip from BKK would be like. What I gather is that there are small bars and poontang of limited quality, 5* to 6* at best, is available. I also read somewhere, probably on a different thread, that there is a soapy in Hua Hin called Lee Lao Dee as well. My question is HOW IS THE BEACH? I assume it is better than polluted Pattaya, but not as clean as the beaches on Ko Chang or further south. Are my assumptions correct? I have visited Ko Chang. It is a lovely island about 3 hours east from Pattaya. The water is very clean and the beaches are beautiful. Unfortunately, Ko Chang nightlife is scant. There are only a handful of small rustic beer bars with low quality older girls and 1 club on the island. Thus Ko Chang is a BYO girl kind of place in my opinion.
  16. Subic is a much more relaxed place than AC. The main bar area is called Barrio Barretto. The girls of Barrio Barreto are nice and very, very friendly. You will have a good time. There are not near as many bars as AC, but how many bars do you need if the bars are good? An added plus is the bars play rock and roll not the usually crappy shit. Here are a few bars worth checking out. Angelwitch, Rum Jungle, Wet Spot, Voodoo, Lollipop, Coco Lips, Alaska, The Office, Buccaneer, Catwalk, and Flash Rat. The nearby beach is called Baloy Beach. Like Pattaya the water here is polluted, but there are 3 floating bars off shore, with more friendly girls, that are worth visiting in the afternoon. The best restaurant is Blue Rock. Order up a BBQ'd sushi grade blue fin tuna steak with sides for around 500p. I sometimes like to order a pizza from Dryden Deli delivered to whichever bar I am drinking in. The girls love it and they can gobble up an extra large meat lover's pizza in seconds!
  17. The Thonglor Marriott is on Sukumvit Soi 57. The driveway entrance is on Soi 57. You can't miss it. The Octave rooftop bar is a great place to take a girl for a couple of drinks. The ambiance is amazing. When I was there in October there was no breeze and it was eerie cool up there like we were floating above BKK.
  18. The River hotels (Oriental, Penninsula, Sheraton) are great for the wife and sightseeing, but not so great for the monger in you. A better choice, yet still not too obvious, are hotels in the Chidlom- Ratchaprasong neighborhood like the Renaisance, Grand Hyatt, 4 Seasons, Intercontinental, Conrad, and even the Kaspersky Siam Hotel adjacent to Siam Paragon (the #1 high end shopping mall in BKK). These Chidlom-Ratchaprasong-Siam hotels are all 5* and have the advantage over the river hotels of being one or two BTS stops away from the Sukumvit nightlife & daylight action for fast getaways. In fact the Hyatt and Intercontinental have good bars (Spasso and Mixx) where you can even take the wife for drinks and dancing or pickup a hi-so FL if you are solo.
  19. The Admiral Premiere is one of my favorite BKK Hotels. The hotel features large suites, great location, and a very nice roof top pool. Check it out.
  20. I have to concur with the review above. I have been coming here since my first visit to Bkk in '89 when it was located off Silom Rd. They used to have a great buffet lunch (guess they still do). Funny thing; the last time I was in Bkk I went to the old location looking forward to the lunch. Obviously, I could not find the restaurant since it had moved. I thought what the hell is going on? Finally, I jumped into a tuk tuk and had the poor driver drive me around the neighborhood looking for the lost restaurant. Eventually I asked a well dressed business man if he remembered the restaurant and what had happened to it. He told me they had moved over to soi 55 off Sukhumvit. So I gave up my immediate search and reluctantly ate lunch locally. But that evening I went there for a fine dinner before I hit Cowboy. This is a classy restaurant featuring authentic gourmet Thai cuisine. It is not cheap, but well worth it. It is one of my favorites. I will definitely stop by on my next visit to BKK in just 10 days. I am getting hungry already.
  21. Bkk is one of the great eating destinations in the world. One proof of that is the fact that the city has some amazing Chinese restaurants in addition to her great Thai restaurants. Two of my favorite places are: Ta Yang Grou - 5/4 soi Ngamduplee (just off Rama IV), a block south of Sathorn Road, next to the Pinnacle Hotel. This place has amazing dumplings & great northern Chinese food. It is open from 10am - 10:30pm. This storefront restaurant has only 6 tables, but its authentic Beijing-style dishes are excellent. I recommend going the whole 9 yards by ordering the pan-fried dumplings (pork and leek & shrimp, vegetarian), the little "steamed stuffed buns" with pork stuffing, and the "lightly fried dumplings" stuffed with chopped greens and pork in thin pastry. That comes to around 40 dumplings, which should be enough for two hungry people, but I always order ma po dofu (hot Sichuan style ground pork and tofu dish) too. Have I whetted you appetite? Believe me, this is a world class dumpling place! Rut & Lek - at corner of Yaowarat and Soi Texas (Soi Phadungdao) is a great sidewalk Chino-Thai seafood restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. It is open from 6:30pm to 2:45am. The restaurant's specialties include mollusks grilled in their shells, whole kingfish smothered with minced coriander and herbs then baked in foil with black pepper and garlic, grilled succulent giant prawns, deep-fried squid with garlic, whole snapper steamed in a broth with ginger, green onions and preserved Chinese plums and crab fried rice. Don't miss this place. I have been coming here for years.
