Every time I go through BKK, the wait at immigration is 30-60 mins. What a nightmare. And by the time I get through, the lady bag is already out on the carousel. BKK is one of the slowest for immigration processing. Even Tokyo is way faster. Just my observation.

Although not in bangkok, a day trip visit to Ayuthaya up the river is interesting. The temples are all in ruins but it was the capital a few hundred years ago.

Is the Sukumvith area safe? I have reservations fo 13 dec to go to Bkk. Staying on soi 22. Is this area safe? Appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
