As per my understanding it is for drugs testing as last thing you would want is a yaba crazed girl scratching a customer. Male staff is only security and serving. They only scratch customers when bills are not paid or any other trouble happens as per bar owners'/managers' direction. I don't think bars care about chlamydia or any minor (as per their understanding) diseases. But weekly check still sounds funny.
