    The cat house is on the first floor of nana plaza up the stairs on the left. usually sit on the balcony and watch the action on nana car park entrance.

    possibly wearing black t shirt black trousers tonight.

    oh well airport for me in 3 hours.

    David arrived very late tonight like about 11.30pm at airport. staying in soi 4 but indeed to have a beer before i sleep. i will probably be in the cathouse to start with about 12.30ish. then may move in. my last number was 0870 951376 not sure if it still works though. I live in Kl so only have a 2 hr flight. (international teacher)

    not sure when you land but i get there at about 11.00pm on Wednesday 8th. I will probably get my first drink in the CATHOUSE Nana plaza upstairs on the left at about half twelve or quater to one. I wont stay there i will move on. I live and work in KL (international teacher) so only a short flight for me. IF my sim card does work it is 0870 951376.

    Try doing a search on agoda and then pressing the map section. It will bring up all the hotels in the area that you may be interested in. Also did you have a budget in mind?     some nice photos there. the room looks good too!! i stayed in the royal president on my last trip and the rooms look similar. That too was guest fiendly if it is of any help. I think it was soi 15 the link is http://www.royalpresident.com/ i had a junior suite and think i paid about £300 for the week with free internet and breakfast. hope this helps.

    thanks guys. during my recent stay in April i used both methods. The taxi desk on arrival and when getting caught up in all the delays due to volcanic ash i used the taxi drivers on the arrivals floor to get me back into Bangkok on a daily basis. yes it saves you a couple of baht for for me it was easy to go to arrivals see if i could get a flight home then if not just walk out the door on the same level and return to the city.

    Not sure if this will work for you but you could always try calling a taxi driver i use a lot called Pod. His number is 0891 418399. he does try very hard to speak some english and always find his prices good. For example he charges 1200 from BKK to pattaya where most drivers want 1500. you may be able to agree a daily price with him. Good Luck

    Sometime in life we just like to seat and have a quiet beer, but always know we will be hassled for ladydrinks. Not any more. The cathouse on the 2nd floor of nana next door to spankys is a real no hassle bar. Up the stairs and turn 90 degrees left. it's then 10 paces on your right. The girls are not allowed to ask for a drink. We can buy them one which i may hasten to add i do but they will never ask you. god i was shocked the first time i went in. Also try and sit on the balcony which over looks the nana car park. It gives you a great view of the freelancers and labyboys.

    Writing this while i am in Bangkok i can honestly say yes we certainly do have protests here in the city. However at this moment in time they are not causing me any major problems at all. tried to get to sala ding on Tuesday but turned back due to the protests. Right now the city is in a state of emergency but to be honest it is not causing any major problems as yet. we have had two red shirt arrests this morning and on the news it did say they had home made bombs on them. (cnn international) Therfore i think i will pop up to pattaya for the weeks holideay festive fun. better to be safe than sorry i say.

    nana to cowboy. i prefer to walk it and take in the sites you never know what you might find. Only takes about 15 - 20 mins. Yes it is hot but by the time i get there ready for a few more beers.

    Train. went to the taxi meter rank got a cab used the express way to nana yesterday. total cost on meter 287 baht. plus tolls. ok so i gave him 500 and we where both happy.

    Hi guys wondered if anyone knows a reliable taxi for pick up from the airport. when i am going to pattaya i usually email my contacts there and all is arranged. This trip i am only going to bkk and wondered if anyone had a contact rather than trying to get a taxi meter. oh and yes i do want to use the express way and will be going to nana. cheers.
