  1. Anniversary Party Reminder @ The Game On June 4th! The party includes a Free Buffet, Drink Specials and Live Music from TINDERBOX who are a talented English-Irish duo. This promises to be a great night, see you at The Game Bangkok this Wednesday! :D
  2. Rather harsh criticism if you have not even tasted the food. You are a brave man if you go into The Game and tell Big Dru his food is low end pub grub! :D To be fair Big Dru has had some good interviews and articles written about him and he won at least one chefs award that I am aware of. I have spent time sitting talking to Big Dru about his cooking and he really knows his stuff. Don't judge too soon.
  3. Now this is where it all went wrong for me last Friday night at The Game. I hit the Kilkenny Pints as they are 199 baht all day until 6:00 PM. Also, without eating anything, I was daft enough to go straight onto the Kilkenny Pints. Fair to say, I was well on my way by the time I hit Nana Plaza!
  4. Hi Ritch, no I do not own any bars and I am nothing to do with the running of The Game. I represent the Nana Group online, who own The Game and a bunch of gogo bars in Nana Plaza. I find it strange you said, "cockney accent" as it is American owned and the 2 managers are both American. I did not see kebab on the menu but I will try to suggest it.
  5. The Game Sports Bar & Grill is one of Bangkok's latest additions. Split over 2 levels, The Game Sports Bar serves an excellent selection of Master Chef Dru Garrity's American style pub grub. You can play pool, watch live sports on several large TV screens, or chill out with friends amid the sporty, but relaxed atmosphere. The Game is conveniently located next to the BTS Nana Skytrain Station on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 9. Get into The Game!
  6. Yes Mark, and following a long flight you quickly get to Bar 4 in Soi Nana for some daytime delight :D
  7. Rainy days in Bangkok are still better than sunny days in London!

  8. Birthday Boy - Survived another year in the neon jungles of Bangkok!

  9. Hi Montien, thanks for the acknowledgement. Chitlom and Silom are two main concentrated areas of the red-shirt barracades. It is advisable to stay away from large groups of either pro-government supporters, or anti-government protesters. Lower Sukhumvit including Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are unaffected so far.
  10. BANGKOK DANGER AREAS: Here is an update on my website - BANGKOK BOMB BLASTS
