I always stayed near Nana Plaza. Easy and quick to bring girls back to my hotel. Majestic Suites on Sukhumvit Road, just around the corner of Soi 4 is my pick. However, the rooms are very basic. More upscale is Majestic Grande in Soi 2. Now it's a Hilton Hotel I think. Rooms are nice and way more modern than Majestic Suites. How I miss being there and fool around in Nana Plaza 😞

Interesting topic, just looked into this now, because maybe airbnb, serviced appt or hotel for "longstay" might be one of my options. When I read the price above, 45.000 baht..it might be worth to consider Majestic Grande in Soi 2. The name is changed into Hilton. I stayed there a couple of times, and one time I stayed a full month for 60.000 baht. This was including breakfast and ofcourse all the standards you usually get in hotels.

For my next trip I will buy a cheap phone and get myself a simcard from DTAC or whatever. My main phone is full of data, as in files, apps, financial things and such, that I don't want to have the risk of getting hacked or losing these things..

The Landmark has parking I think. The Hilton on Soi 2, which used to be Majestic Grande also has a place to park your car.

Have you checked their websites perhaps?

Both Dtac and AIS seem to work good.

It seemed the styling was not working. Now everything is ok again :)

Hi there mods, Is there a reason why some of the pages of the forum show up in "HTML" style? I have tried deleting all history etc., even tried another browser..(chrome & Firefox) Is it just me or are there more people with the same issue? Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Read several reviews on Majestic Grande that it will be sold to Hilton. Renovation is going on. Hope it won't drive the prices up.. Will check it out next month.

Not sure if this helps you: Haven't been in any of the mentioned hotels, but when I travel I pick and select my hotel based on: Location, how far or how near is the hotel from my POI's Price (comparison) Reviews/ratings on Tripadvisor and other bookingsites Pictures of the room(s) Oyster is a good website with pros, cons and lot's of pictures. If authorities or whoever finds out, it's the problem of the owner. Your only problem might be finding another place to stay.

I think it's by law now that you should have a minimum stay of 30 days for air bnb. Less than 30 days is illegal.

I always fly with Eva. Had 1 delay of about..4 or 5 hours..but still they are the best to fy with IMO.

Haven't tried them both, only EVA, and i still fly EVA. Good seats, great service..

i would not do it like that. just grab a taxi for a good price and sort everything out on the web..where to go, what to see etc. hope you will enjoy your tours!

there are 2 hotels that i use: Majestic Suites, 3 star, around the corner of Nana Plaza Majestic Grande, 4 star, near Annies. Grande has a bit more comfort and the rooms look better. Still, Suites has everything you need, a bed, shower and a tv.. Plus the service in Suites is better than in Grande IMO.

i have stayed several times at Majestic Grande. Service and rooms are good. on walking distance of Nana Plaza. you can find some pics of the room in my TR's.

isn't MBK a good spot for something like that?
