  1. The distance to the mainroad is the only thing that troubles me a bit..
  2. Thanks for your quick reply Plahgat! Helps me out a lot!
  3. Hi all, Did any of you mongers stayed before at iCheckinn Sukhumvit Soi 2? Thinking about staying at this place for my next trip, so all info is welcome :) Thanks in advance!
  4. Majestic grande is a very good hotel, indeed girlfriendly. Will be staying there tomorrow :)
  5. I saw this hotel on the list of GF hotels in bkk. I don't have any experience with this hotel, though i saw a lot of positive reviews about this hotel.
  6. I see, when i went there in Feb, i did not even think about negotiating lol.. For me the damage was: 600 baht for the drinks 500 baht for the room 2000 baht for ST Went there 2 times in a row, and paid exactly the same. The girls, room and the drinks all together, it was worth it.. But indeed, it might not be a FL spot..(anymore)
  7. It's in Sukhumvit Soi 12. When you enter the soi, you will see it on your left side, with a lot of red lights. You can't miss it :) Have a look at my tripreport..i posted 2 pics. http://www.bangkok-addicts.com/forum/topic/4966-bkk-tripreport/page-3
  8. The bars in soi 4 have the option to sit on the streetside, it is possible to smoke there. I am not sure if it's allowed inside..
  9. There is a mcdonalds open till late around the corner of soi 4. Accros the mcdonalds is a burgerking. They're both open till late.
  10. I have been to Soi Arab a few times to have some kebab. Very good food and cheap as well.
  11. I stayed both at Majestic Suites and Majestic Grande. Majestic Suites is a 3 star hotel, Majestic Grande is a 4 star hotel. You can see the difference in the rooms and lobby very well, Majestic Grande is much better in my opinion. Ofcourse there is a difference in price, let's say Majestic Suites is 20 euros cheaper than Majestic Grande. I booked Majestic Grande for my next stay in bkk for 26 nights :P Majestic Suites is just around the corner of Nana Plaza, Majestic Grande is near Annies. So both very close to Nana Plaza. Lot's of bars around there. If you book a single, and you are thinking about bringing a lady, that's not a smart idea. Better go for the double :)
  12. stayed there before, good hotel, just around the corner from the action :D No balconies, you can't open a window or whatsoever.
  13. I remember when i visited China Town, the market area, i saw some shops selling tea. Bought some tea for my family there.. I am sorry i don´t have any more details, and not sure if they have green tea.. But they sure had a lot of black tea.
  14. Bangkok's on my mind 555

  15. Everyday i woke up late for the breakfast..blame Chang beer ;) There is a restaurant downstairs called The Kebab Factory. It's pricey, but, for 1300 baht you get 3 courses of unlimited food. They refill whatever you want, except your drinks i think. Quite good, hope i can check out the breakfast buffet next time..
  16. Staying at this hotel now. Its a great hotel, good service and around the corner of nep! Nothing to complain about :)
  17. I will stay there next month, some are positive, some are negative. Also on tripadvisor i see the same. My expectations are not too high for the price of the room, and i will let you guys know how my stay at boss was!
  18. I have stayed there in september, had a room on the 3rd floor facing the road. No noise at all from the road, nana plaza or neighbours. Nana is just around the corner, it will take you 1 min to get there :D The aircon worked good, so good, it was too cold sometimes. The staff is very nice, also in the restaurant. Some say the staff in the restaurant is not nice, but that is not true. My stay was perfect and i will stay there in feb again!
