  1. The other downside to Sukumvit Suites is that it is massively overpriced
  2. To put this in perspective, I used to stay in a Hotel in the Ratchada area near Huai Khwang MRT station. Very nice room (bigger than Connex or Drop Inn), complete with sofa and coffee table, quiet location, for less than 1000 baht/night. As I said above, there's better value to be had if you can look outside the lower Sukhumvit corridor.
  3. I can recommend Pro-Corner in the Fortune Town mall (Rama9 MRT), 3rd level, back aisle. I've had a couple of repairs done there and they are honest, reliable and very reasonable price. The manager Khun Nick speaks good English. (Note - closed on Sunday) Procorner co.,ltd. 7, 3A15, 3rd.floor., THE IT MALL, Ratchadaphisek Rd., Dindang, Bangkok 10400 Thailand Tel : +662-642-0596-7 Ext. 20,21 Fax : +662-642-0596-7 Ext. 14 E-MAIL : [email protected] ww.itunlimit.com
  4. Good location but way overpriced at 2275 THB. Far better value to be had elsewhere.
  5. I've previously had laser hair removal but not electrolysis. Yanhee hospital would be your best bet. :) http://www.yanhee.net/hair-removal
  6. Yanhee is the most popular private hospital among Thais for cosmetic surgery and Bangmod is also very popular - BUT - it's the skill of the Surgeon and not the hospital that counts. If your nearest and dearest is serious about cosmetic surgery you should check out the reviews of the Surgeons specializing in the required procedure to find the best available. There are horror stories out there and it pays to do your due diligence.
