Notta Problem

I was happy with the room and location. It was only 2 nights and 3 days. Modern, clean, at the end of Soi 11. I was solo this time and did not bring any dames back (quick business trip). The only thing was that it was a little on the small side, but there's enough room if you have a LT over for the night. (As most of us know) a walk to Nana is about 9-10 minutes (I think) a Cowboy a little farther. Nice staff.

Well to add, I decided to book a room there. Will give a report in a couple of weeks.

I've been researching. President Palace is closed for renovation. Anyone have experience with Smart Suites on Soi 11? Thanks.

I just checked President Palace soi 11. It's on TripAdvisor of course, but the alleged website (I was looking for their email address) States that it's closed for renovation from Dec 2015 for about 10 months. Is this correct?

Yeah, the Grand President had a LOT of neg reviews. The Ambassador seems like a good option. Good on you.

godzuki, So, you read trip adviser and changed from Grand President. I was very close to booking room at Grand President, but I'm going to look for other options now.

^ To add to my question above. I just read dozens of recent reviews of the "Grand President" on Tripadvisor. I think you should read them before booking. I'm not saying this is the norm, and it's true the unhappy folks usually post a review and the happy ones don't. Tripadvisor is worth reviewing for any hotel you are considering. I've always done this and it helpful.

Some hotels in Pattaya have a ban on girls under 20 years of age. Ask / email before hand. Also, ask to see ID of the lady, if you care. It's a hotel policy and not about the law.

This may be a naiive question, but is GP reliable with credit card reservations in advance?
