  1. Was introduced to the Robin Hood on Sukhumvit Soi 33 by one of my collegues.

Excellent breakfast, the large breakfast consists of egg (Fried, Scrambled etc) Toast, Bacon, Sausages, Black Pudding Beans, Fried Kidneys, Toast, Hash Browns and is excellent value for money.

Also build your own from the above options :-)

    Went back most mornings

  2. I have been using this hotel when Staying in Pattaya, much quieter than main Pattaya.

Cheap, clean, friendly staff, small private pool to relax in 5 minutes from Jomtien beach.

Girl friendly and will ask for ID unless you tell them not to.

Balcony if requested in superior rooms, not great view I must admit, but then most of us not there for the view.

    Breakfast is optional.

Laundry place across the road :-)

  3. Been to many different Hooters, mostly in the US and the food in them is not superior quality, but after all it is a fast food place.

The wings I found to be very good, and the one burger I had was also good.

Will try the one in Bangkok in November.

I collect the shot glasses, so its a souvenir.

  4. Westin Grand is where my company usually put us up :-)

Excellent rooms, nice beds and bedding. View not bad my usual room looks at the entrance to Soi Cowboy.

Food is good, buffet style breakfast with Asian and Western food.

    Girl friendly, no ID requests.

Live singers in the bar area, beer a bit more expensive but not extortionately so.

Ladyboy freelancers usually outside on the steps up to the hotel, but no real hassle from them.

This next trip is vacation time and not work so am staying at the Holiday Inn on Sukumvitt 22 so will let you all know what its like.

  5. I normally leave my good watch, passport, main wallet and laptop in my room safe along with my UK mobile & IPad etc.

I always carry a second wallet with me it has some cash and one atm card that only has a couple of hundred pounds on it..i can top it up online. And my Malaysian photo ID and after reading a few posts will do a copy of my passport as well.

If you wear trainers or shoes with socks then you can always put you big bills in there, most pick pockets wont stoop that low :-).

If you are sensible and keep your head switched you will be fine, pissed well we all know how the decision making goes then.

  6. Hi Guys,

Do many of the golf clubs have rental sets?

Are the courses busy through the week, and would I be able to play with others just turning up or is that not a done thing here?

Are buggies included in cost of round?

Are caddies included and how much do you tip them?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

    John
