  1. Thank you. Looking at BFS now. I have yet to land in a line for less than 15 minutes and I prefer to not wait in lines when there is an option. Yes, my time is quite valuable to me.
  2. http://www.firstclassbangkok.com/ is where I noticed the service. There may be less expensive options but this is the first I came across that provides gate to car service.
  3. Has anyone tried this yet? It's less than 100 USD and you get a cart ride from the gate to special fast track immigration area. If there are no negative responses or if no one has tried I will report back after next trip. I am keen to try it as I am using their car service already.
  4. Not that I am aware. They do have an excellent laundry service though. No need to waste time washing clothes while on vacation.
  5. Are these Isaan girls by any chance? If you are eating Som Tam Isaan style with the pickled crab and fermented fish sauce? That may be the issue. I can see where some could have a problem there.
  6. I have never been ill from street carts nor local Thai restaurants. I absolutely adore the fermented (left hanging, open air, two days before cooking) Isaan sausages and even those have failed to cause issue. The only time I got sick was when I ate in a commercial establishment at the mall. In fact both I and my Thai companion got the trots. The only caveat is I have been eating true SE Asian food since I was quite young. I hope someone else can advise on the sensitive stomach issue as I am of no help with that. The street carts and market vendors for the most part are self-employed. They have pride in what they produce and I imagine understand that if they sell bad food they risk losing business and more importantly face.
  7. I am suffering a severe hangover after last trip. TR may be coming, unsure yet as I must eat crow to post it. However to alleviate one of the longings from my trips I broke down and made Sai Ua today. It helped a bit to alleviate one of my longings for the street food. Tomorrow will I will make Moo Ping to hopefully further satiate my longing for street cart goodies.
  8. Perhaps it will work with a US bank account. I am making the same move in just over a year now and was advised to have a Thai bank account to avoid any issues. If you find out different I would keen to hear of your experience.
  9. How to Obtain a Retirement Visa in Thailand:STEP 1: OBTAIN A NON-IMMIGRANT VISA Requirements: Passport (at least one year remaining before expiration) You must be holding nationality or permanent residence of the country of application Proof of Funds STEP 2: OBTAIN A ONE-YEAR RETIREMENT VISA Requirements: Must be 50 years old and above Passport (signed copies of each page) Non-Immigrant Visa Departure Card TM.6 Proof of meeting Financial Requirements Thai Bank Book (original) Letter from your Thai Bank Three(3) 4×5 cm photos, with full face taken STEP 3: OBTAINING A RE-ENTRY PERMIT Most people misunderstand the different concepts of “Extension of Stay” and “Re-entry Permit”. Sometimes mistaken for each other, you must understand that these are two different things, both of which you would need during your stay. The Extension of Stay is simply the controlling date. Everything else is dependent on this. Everything is invalidated when your Extension of Stay expires. On the other hand, the Re-entry Permit’s validity is subject to the validity of your Extension of Stay. However, leaving Thailand without a re-entry permit automatically invalidates your extension of stay. STEP 4: REPORTING YOUR STAY EVERY 90 DAYS and VISA EXPIRATION You are required to report to the Immigration Police every 90 days if you are on a long term extension of stay. Persons holding a multiple entry visa will simply depart Thailand and renew their extension of stay after each 90 day entry. If you cannot obtain your extension inside Thailand, you will have to get a new non-immigrant visa from a Thai Embassy or Consulate abroad. Meeting the Financial Requirements for a Retirement Visa:Financial Requirements are as follows: Bank Account showing THB 800,000 Monthly income of at least THB 65,000 Combination (Bank Account + Income x 12 = THB 800,000)
  10. I have the number for a guy there that I use to get to Kamala Beach and back. He is a not inexpensive but it is a private SUV and he is very personable. I am sure he would not mind going the extra distance to Patong.
  11. No Visa needed and no charge when coming from USA currently. Your airline should give you the card to fill out prior to landing in BKK.
  12. That's true for many. I had a Mexican girl I played with while I lived in Kalifornia. We ate at all her favorite dives to get the authentic as much as possible. She always told me how she loved spicy food until we went to my favorite Thai restaurant. I ordered my Thai hot (phet mak mak) and she followed suit so sure she knew what spicy meant. I tried to persuade her to back it down a bit as we had eaten together enough, I knew what she considered spicy truly was not. When our food arrived and we began to eat she did her best but the tears and beads of sweat on her brow gave her away. after just three bites.
  13. If you get room 506 at Majestic Suites be sure and check the pillow above the wardrobe before using it. I used it to prop up one of my girls last trip for some DATY and it got soaked straight through from her squirting so many times. We had quite the marathon before my flight back home. ;)

  15. From front door of Majestic Grande walk across Soi 2 past Annies into Rajah parking lot. This lot borders Soi 2 and 4. It is a direct shot from door to 4.
  16. I do it on my phone or tablet before uploading when in the field so to speak. Not sure what you have with you android or crapple?
  17. Had a fantastic feast at Ton-Thong restaurant. Highly recommended if you want a true Thai dining experience. It is a bit of a haul but taxi was less than 100 baht for us. We ordered 6 mains of seafood, one of them a huge Isaan Som Tam Tad spread. We had various appetizers, fried shrimp cakes the size of tennis balls, dried then fried pork and the spring rolls. All was outstanding and service was impecable. Total bill was only 1280 baht https://m.facebook.com/pages/Ton-Thong-Thai-Restaurant/343605092355450
  18. Will concur. Gallery Pizza is not bad and delivery is fast. We sampled a few different styles last night. One of my pair from previous night went home to get clothes so I thought it only appropriate to feed her since no barfine. Although she did bring a few outfits, I think she may have just moved in.......
  19. Markets, small family run restaurants and street food is the most enticing for me. I always run for the stick meats when I hit the ground. Do not be afraid to try whatever you see that looks appetizing. If you do not like it try something else. No one can tell you what is "the best" as tastes are subjective and entirely personal. I like my food truly Thai spicy and even eat bugs after my last trip. I had Isaan Som tam last trip and had tears in the corner of my eyes. I loved every minute of it even if slightly masochistic. So go forth and just wander about the many markets and enjoy yourself and always remember to smile!
  20. Thanks for the tip. You need to post more you always have some great info.
  21. Sorry, I always use hotels in BKK. If you were going to Chiang Mai I know a few Penthouses that were quite nice when entertaining an above average number. One I can assure has a shower that will indeed comfortably hold 5 at a time. :D I am sure someone here will be along with a BKK recommend soon enough. Best of luck and hope you have a great time.
  22. Sweet another that lost his virginity. They were surprisingly good which is why I never looked while she was feeding them to me. It was not until we sat down at the street restaurant that I saw the bag and it's contents.
  23. After reading the majority of your posts the problem I fear is not the girls, Mamasans nor is it your room.
