Thanks for that, I have booked my room with them for my trip in October. I decided to go for an ordinary Studio room not one of their modern Chinese rooms which are more exspensive just for a different style. Now just counting down the weeks till I get back to Thailand.

Hi I will be going back to Thailand in November and usually spend most of my trip in Pattaya. Before I head down I will be staying a few days in Bangkok. In the past I have stayed at the Ruamchitt plaza along Sukhumvit road near Soi Sukhumvit 15 as its between soi cowboy and Nana Plaza, reasonably comfortable with free wifi and a pool. When I stayed there 2 years ago one of the good things about it was no Joiner/Guest fee, But since then I can see the hotel has had a complete makeover and now looks more up market (judging by pics of the rooms, swimming pool and their new website) I emailed them asking if they charge a joiner/guest fee but have not heard back from them. So was wondering if anyone on here knows if they now charge or not or any other similar hotels recommended in the area.
