  1. I recommend Dynasty Grande as well. Decent hotel and very short walk to Nana Plaza. From the hotel you can also b-line directly to Kasalong, Lolita’s, and Soi 8, cross over the foot bridge and short stroll to Thermae bar, Terminal 21 shopping center, and Soi Cowboy. Another hotel recommendation is Sukhumvit Suites (at Asok station/Soi Cowboy). Rooms are small, but very functional. Great for shorter stays. I also have stayed at Terminal 21 Grande hotel. Pricier hotel but location is fantastic. Bangkok is awesome. One of my favorite cities in the world. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I plan on arriving in Bangkok on April 16th. I realize it’s a couple of days after the Songkran celebration in Bangkok. I’ve never participated in Songkran before. My plan is to stay in Bangkok for a couple of nights before heading to Pattaya on the 18th for a couple of weeks. Option is to skip Bangkok and head straight to Pattaya. I hope the P4p scene will be good in Bangkok right after Songkran. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I enjoyed my stay at Terminal 21 Grand Hotel. They have a very nice infinity style pool. Very close to Cowboy. And very walkable to Nana Plaza. Private entrance into Terminal 21 mall and Asoke BTS. The only knock on this place is that they don’t serve alcohol. But no big deal for me as I preferred to drink elsewhere anyway. (You could always bring your own libations into your room if needed) Crash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My recent trips have all been with EVA. Their Premium Economy service is worth it. And departing time from my US location is just past midnight, so I arrive to BKK by early afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looking for more info on Siem Reap and HCMC. Anyone with recent trip experience? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, they accepted the ID, but I’ve been used to other hotels calling me upon check out. I guess not all hotels are the same. It all worked out tho, no bad girls. Re location...I just felt not close enough to the action. No beer bars really close by. Cowboy is across the street, but not easy to jaywalk Asok. Had to walk down to corner and wait for the long light. I think there are other options to consider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I just completed a 4 night stay. Pros: -yes, guest friendly -room in fine condition -nice comfortable bed -excellent WiFi -good size deluxe room -nice staff -included breakfast (but I never tried it) -close to BTS / MRT -separate shower and bathtub Cons -I didn’t care for the location as I felt a bit removed from the center of action -front desk never once called my room when girls left hotel I didn’t check out the pool. In the future, i would consider other hotels before choosing to stay here. Crash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Here’s another thread with some SS Suites info. Hotel near Soi Cowboy https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=152639&share_tid=6020&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ebangkok-addicts%2Ecom%2Fforum%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Ftopic%2F6020-Hotel-near-Soi-Cowboy&share_type=t Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Have a great 48 hours! You may find a less-hardened girl from Thermae bar. The bar is located at bottom level of the Ruamchitt hotel on Sukhumvitt at Soi 15. I think they open at 8pm. Regular working class girls who freelance from time to time. A few hotties IMO. No barfine. Clientele overwhelmingly Asian, but shouldn’t stop anyone from having a look. I don’t want to turn your thread into a Thermae discussion (many opinions about this place) so I suggest you search this board for more info. There are several posts about this place. I also found some of the bar girls working at Stumble bar, Nana plaza, to be less hardened. I didn’t BF any of them but I did have drinks, play pool, and had a nice chat with many of them on my last trip. They were not pushy at all. Crash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have not stayed at the Pullman. But I have stayed at the Grande Centre Point Terminal 21. It’s also close to Soi Cowboy. Modern style rooms. Nice views. Nice infinity pool and workout area. Private entrance into shopping mall. Girl friendly of course. I found it to be of 5 star quality and would impress any girl you bring into the room. My room was on a high floor looking down on Soi Cowboy entrance. Large, Thick glass window blocking out all street noise. Also had two window shade options for privacy. Price point should be similar to Pullman. They don’t have a bar nor provide any alcohol in the hotel, but you can bring some into your room if needed. A non issue for me as I did all my drinking at gogo bars, etc. I also stayed at Sukhumvit Suites and Dynasty Grande, but I do not think it fits your request. Have a great trip!! 11. I’m trying to learn. Good post. Thanks! Crash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Other plus -you can see her taking a shower from the bed Other minus -she can see you taking a dump -you can see her taking a dump (this might be a plus for if your into that) -bathroom not very noise proof because of sliding glass door Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I just checked into Sukumvit Suites. It’s right at Asok BTS station a stones throw to Soi Cowboy. Upside: -location to Cowboy -modern rooms -cute from desk girls -bar downstairs with happy hour -within your budget Downside -small rooms (but manageable) -street noise if your a light sleeper (I’ve also stayed at Grande T21, which is 5star but more expensive) Crash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. UAL has some decent fares from Sfo to BKK. I looked at November. One partner airline option was via ANA for $620 r/t. Although beware. I booked a flight last Feb with ual but they didn't honor it. They said their partner airline would not honor the price. I didn't even know this happened. I had a conf # and everything. Ual claimed that they sent me an email about it. Luckily I found at about it by checking my ual app. Suddenly my Rez wasn't showing up and I called. I wound up booking Singapore air instead. Cost me a bit more and the overall flight time was longer (2 connections) but the service was The Best ever. Top notch. Even for coach class. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
