  1. Just wanted to mention that Suda on Sukhumvit Soi 14 is a great little place to sit down and have a cold beer and some authentic Thai/Chinese food, all at a very low price. I have had the short ribs several times and they are great, as is everything on the menu. I just love to grab a meal here and then sit around and drink a few beers and chat with the Thais and Westerners that come in to dine there. I highly recommend it if you are in the area and want a grab a casual bite to eat in an open-air, non-pretentious environment. Cheers.
  2. Bourbon Street, located in Washington Square off of Sukhumvit Soi 22, is a great place to grab a meal if you are looking for American cajun-style comfort food. They have a very extensive menu ranging from steaks, ribs, and sea food, to cajun dishes like andouille sausage, red beans and rice, and po-boy sandwiches. The service is attentive and the staff very pleasant. I love this restaurant and visit it often when in Bangkok.
