  1. Thanks Mark. I will keep that in mind. For me, having come from Vietnam a few days earlier, it was Ok. I think I will look for a good Korean restaurant for some Bigolgi next time. Know of any? Cheers!!
  2. Hello Gents, You might have heard this recently but it appears that having over 252 orgasms a year can help to prevent prostate cancer. I have attached an article here for your review from the Sun but it has appeared in other publications. Check it out. https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/3946845/orgasms-avoid-cancer-men-prostate-research/ There are other publications that state that 350-700 orgasms per year can help you live an additional 4-8 years if not longer. Orgasms Seriously: "Cleveland Clinic’s Wellness Institute, claims 4-8 years of additional life can be garnered if we have 350-700 orgasms per year. … Other studies report 2-3 orgasms per week can make us look 7-12 years younger." Printed: 2017-08-29 Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies IEET Link: Of course you have the other side that said no sex made them have superpowers. http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/love-sex/masturbation-giving-up-effects-life-changes-reddit-nofap-men-say-it-gave-them-superpowers-a7345466.html Go figure. I for one, will go for the orgasms. Caveat, you need to eat right, not over binge on alcohol, and exercise. Sounds like eat in sometimes, only 2 beers instead of four per night, and run extra hard to chase women. Check, check, check!! Every reason to get out there and have fun. 3. Get ya and got ya. They were great for the 20 plus hour trip to the LOS. I packed a carry on for a 17 day trip, so I used these to cut down on every item of clothing I could while still attempting to be a fashion stud. It did work out but I realized I could have checked a bag free, so effort wasted. Also, a little softer cotton because my balls deserve it. Cheers!!
  4. Hey Davvid, Thanks for the information and I shall place that in my data banks to stop by. Thanks for the share as I am always looking for something a bit off the beaten or should I saw "eaten" path. (sorry for the terrible pun, if you can even call it that. ^_^ )
  5. Hello Gents, Just wanted to pass along some information from Consumer Reports about insect repellent from their tests in the June Magazine. I don't get anything from CR and simply want to pass along unbiased information from the SME's on this matter, especially given that mosquito's can be quite a problem in SE Asia. I have followed CR for nearly 30 years and think they provide outstanding advise. I recall talking to a woman who had a horrible scar on her leg and our conversation drifted to what happened and she said it was a mosquito bite that got infected. Of course, don't scratch after getting bitten, and I learned in Vietnam that if you rub the inside skin of a banana peel on the mosquito bite, it will stop the itching and allow it to heal faster. Anyway, here is the information and I hope it proves helpful to someone. Cheers!! PS: I had to take out the images but the brands are still there. Ingredient Info In our most recent survey of insect-repellent users, about half said they don’t read the labels before buying them. That’s a mistake, because the active ingredient and concentration matters to both effectiveness and safety. Products with any one of these three active ingredients—deet, oil of lemon eucalyptus, and picaridin—generally worked well in our tests. And all are safe, even for pregnant women, when used appropriately. Here’s what you need to know about each: Deet Many people assume that the more deet (N, N-diethyl-meta-toluamide) a product contains, the better. But our tests found that products with 15 to 30 percent deet can provide long-lasting protection against mosquitoes and ticks. And some research suggests that higher concentrations and excessive doses can pose risks, including rashes and possibly even disorientation and seizures. That’s why we say you should avoid repellents with more than 30 percent deet and not use those products at all on babies younger than 2 months. (See below for how to safely apply all repellents.) But make sure you don't go too low: The product in our insect repellent ratings with just 7 percent deet didn’t work well. Shop Ben's Insect Repellent on Amazon See How Insect Repellents With Deet Rated in Our Tests Picaridin This is a synthetic repellent modeled after a compound that occurs naturally in the black pepper plant. We recommend two 20 percent picaridin products, both sprays. But concentration matters: Another picaridin product, this one just 5 percent, was one of our lowest-scoring insect repellents. And, at least when it comes to picaridin, form seems to matter, too. We found that the 20 percent lotion we tested did not work as well as the 20 percent picaridin spray. Finally, while picaridin seems safe, even for use on infants, it can irritate your skin and eyes, so you should use it carefully (see below). Shop Sawyer Insect Repellent on Amazon Find Out How Repellents With Picaridin Did in Our Ratings Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus This is a naturally occurring compound, extracted from the gum eucalyptus tree; a product in our insect repellent ratings that contained 30 percent oil of lemon eucalyptus (OLE) did well in our tests, warding off mosquitoes and ticks for at least 7 hours. All the other products with plant oils—including cedar, cinnamon, citronella, clove, geranium, lemongrass, rosemary, and peppermint—provided little protection, often failing in our tests within a half-hour. OLE also appears to be relatively safe when used properly, though it can cause temporary eye injury, and the Food and Drug Administration recommends against using it on children younger than 3. Shop Repel Lemon Eucalyptus on Amazon See Which Insect Repellents Topped Our Tests IR3535 and 2-Undecanone In our tests, products with these two ingredients were less effective (compared with deet, picaridin, and OLE), offering limited protection. IR3535 is a man-made compound that is structurally similar to a naturally occurring amino acid. And 2-Undecanone is a synthesized version of a compound found in rue, wild tomatoes, and several other plants. Both products appear relatively safe but, as with all repellents, should be used with caution, especially on children. Shop Coleman Insect Repellent on Amazon Check Our Insect Repellent Ratings The Buzz: Things to Think About Be Wary of ‘Natural’ Repellents Several makers of “natural” insect repellents (which typically contain essential plant oils like cedar, citronella, lemongrass, and rosemary) claim that their products can help ward off mosquitoes, including those that carry the Zika virus. But our tests show that was true only for the product we tested with oil of lemon eucalyptus. Don’t Buy Based on Just Ingredient or Concentration Some of our top-rated product contains picaridin, but so do some of our lower-rated ones. Concentration and form probably explain some of that difference: High-scoring products are sprays that contain 20 percent picaridin, and the low-scoring ones contain less picaridin or come in a lotion form. Don't Use Combination Sunscreen-Insect Repellent Products We’re not fans of these combo products—sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours, which could over-expose the user to the chemicals in repellents. For More Check Our Insect Repellent Ratings The Right Way to Apply Repellents Proper application and use is essential, both for maximum protection and to avoid possible side effects, including skin or eye irritation. That means: • Apply repellent only to exposed skin or clothing (as directed on the product label). Never put it on under clothing. • Use just enough to cover and only for as long as needed; heavier doses don’t work better and can increase risks. • Don’t apply repellents over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. When applying to your face, spray first on your hands, then rub in, avoiding your eyes and mouth, and using sparingly around ears. • Don’t let young children apply. Instead, put it on your own hands, then rub it on. Limit use on children’s hands because they often put their hands in their eyes and mouths. • Don’t use near food, and wash hands after application and before eating or drinking. • At the end of the day, wash treated skin with soap and water, and wash treated clothing in a separate wash before wearing again. • Some directions suggest using repellents on clothes, but most of the ones we tested damaged leather and vinyl, and some of them stained synthetic fabrics. Wash repellent off your skin and launder treated clothes. 6. Hello Gents, First, I have nothing to do with T-Mobile other than being a customer. I get nothing out of passing this along other than the fact that you might save some money and be able to spend on your "hobbies". Anyway, the point of this deal is that you get unlimited voice, data, and text for $60 all in to include taxes. Did I mention that this if for two lines? No? Well this is for two lines. If you join autopay you get it even cheaper. I just did it this morning after I saw this in a group I belong and wanted to pass it along because I am not paying 50 dollars instead of 99.00 I called a service representative and it was done in 10 minutes. TMobile is also pretty good on mobile data around the world as well when you travel and has reasonable rates. Not sure what they are offering in other countries but this appears to be a US deal. Pass it along to anyone in the 55+ crowd. Here is the link to the page. Cheers!! https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/t-mobile-one-unlimited-55?icid=WMM_TM_Q31725GOAT_ATLMG9TEEX09626 https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/08/07/forget-millenials-t-mobile-goes-cheaper-for-senior.aspx
  7. You can get them cheaper on Amazon. The price is around 12 -13 dollars. They last a long time and are worth the money in the long run. Quality item and you are worth it. :P
  8. Let me know what you think about the food. You should visit the place as it is very nice inside. Cheers.
  9. Hey Mate, Not a problem with responding because that is what we are here for; to support each other. Yes, I can understand about dealing with the poor and most people just want to live the best life that has been dealt to them. In the question about the hotel, it is about 70 usd now but was only about 45 last year. It is nice for the price and I believe you can get a discount price if you make a reservation on their website. The MRT is only about a 5 minute walk and one stop up and you are in the action. Also, only 10 minutes by cab in heavy traffic to Soi Cowboy. Yes, it appeared to be guest friendly as they didn't say anything as I walked with my Take away to my room. Hopes this helps. Have a great day. Cheers!!
  10. Wow, what a way to treat you as that price sounds competitive. When I came to BKK out of IAD, the price was about 628 on UAL and ANA from NRT. UAL as does most american airlines are passenger unfriendly and I try to fly with anyone else. The prices look to be about the same this year for a flight out in November and early December. I am actually looking at a flight out of Cairo to BKK nonstop business class for 1200 dollars and some change. It is a matter of getting there and connecting that is an issue. I think you may see some discounted prices especially if the stock market makes a big correction, which could happen at any time.
  11. Try the Ex Officio Boxer Briefs. I have well muscled thighs and they helped immensely. I currently have 12 pair because they are that good. Uniglo has some ok ones as well for travel. 12. Funny you should ask and good questions. Answer to question 1: 380 Bht 225 entree, 90 appetizer, and 65 for drink. Cost 11 dollars. The food was flavorful, the surroundings very upscale, and the staff very accommodating. When I am on vacation, I do not scrimp on providing myself good meals. I just went to one of my fav Vietnamese restaurants here in the DC area and it cost me 63 dollars for two, so that meal in BKK was a bargain. Q2. I stayed at the Modena by Fraser. 4-4-5 star hotel that is near the Queens convention center and the BRT. Very nice place. Check out my review here and there are many on tripadvisor who think the same as I do. It was almost half the price that it is now and I guess that is because it is more popular and better known. Q3. I did not know this and I think I may have walked through some of them. In my past life, I walked through some very dangerous places all the time because it was my job. Never had to kill anyone. Anyone that swung first got to pick the hospital of their choosing. Just saying. The hotel area I was staying in is upscale and you should check it out. Q4. I like Vietnamese food and to each their own. My best friend was Vietnamese and I worked as wait staff when I was in college in a Vietnamese restaurant. I love every facet of the food and was why I had to stop in Vietnam just to eat the food and hang out. Well worth it. As to Thai food, it is good as well. I like Lad Na and the various styles of Thai. I like to mix things up a bit and I enjoy Thai as well. I even learned to make Mango and sticky rice upon my return because it was so good and healthy. I lost 15 pounds by walking and eating their food over a weeks time. I also walked 7-10 miles a day sight seeing, so I think that is where that weight went. Best way to see how people live is to walk where they walk. A great time. Anyway, thanks for the questions and hope they prove to be useful. Enjoy your stay in BKK and see you around on the Board. PS: I see that we have the same interests: Tight asses and Big Firm tits. :P
  13. Hello Gents, I look at and follow air travel to the SE on a daily basis and came across this deal and did check it out on Google Flights: Flights from San Francisco to BKK in September and October for as low as $475. I used a sample date of Sept 5th - Oct 4th and was priced at $475 for China Southern and a 20 hour trip. Coming back is a bit longer, but that gives you more time to recuperate and play back the fun you had in Bangkok. Flights also appear to be cheap for HCMC and a couple of other destinations in the area. If you are in China on a layover you can get a 72 hour visit visa free and go check out some of the local flavor. I haven't flown on China Southern, but compared to american airlines these days, how bad can it be? I have flown United and ANA and liked the ANA trip much better than United. So check out this deal if it helps anyone. There may be other departure points. A dollar saved on travel is a dollar spent on your ladies. Cheers!!
  14. Hello Gents, I wanted to share a Vietnamese restaurant I came across that was close to my hotel in the Klong Toei area. I searched Google for a Vietnamese restaurant and it came up with Vietnamese and More close by, so close I thought I could walk to it, given I had already walked 10 miles that day on a walking tour. I began the trek and traipsed through back alleys, dark corridors, unlit streets and the like until I finally found the place. Having just come from Ho Chi Minh City a few days before, I was looking for some good Vietnamese in Thailand. The food was very good and lived up to the 4.5 star rating by TripAdvisor and I could see many middle and upper middle class Thais and well as Vietnamese were also enjoying themselves with food and beverage. I ordered the Spring Rolls and the Bun Cha (grilled pork, pork patty and mixed vegetable) for my main course and was not disappointed. The place is modern and has a nice vibe. A few ladies were by the small bar and looked to be regular thai women. I did take a cab back to the hotel since it was late, I had a full stomach, and my feet were near revolt. Good prices and worth the visit in my opinion. Check it out. It is located at :99/9-11 Rimthang Rotfai Saiklao Paknam | Khlongtoei, Bangkok, Bangkok 10110, Thailand +66 2 671 9955
  15. I would have to agree with dbuko for exactly his reasoning. The free breakfast and free drinks at happy hour can save you some dollars (or currency of your choice) in the long run especially with the alcohol. Free is free especially when beer is 140 bht. The other thing is simply do the math and see what comes out better in the wash. Also, an upgrade to a suite may help when you place that reservation. I do this on travel all the time and it allows me to spend on more important things, like women. Finally, splurge on yourself. You are on vacy and you are worth every pfenning. It may not be too late. Ask at the desk and you might get a manger's special.
  16. Hat tip to Buttviking who provided this information along with a pricing range in another post. I just added it to my vital notes to take and use when I head back to Bangkok. Hope it helps. Lots of info on hotels in the area in all price ranges here: http://bangkokredeye...dly-hotels.html
  17. In front of Nana, choice of fresh chicken on a stick or bugs. While they may taste the same, chicken won by a hair. Did I mention the chicken had hair on its leg? On an aside, bugs will also be one of the mainstays for protein in the future for the masses. Hopefully, I won't be part of those masses.
  18. Hello Gents, First the title should have been Nice Hotel Close to the Action - Appears Guest Friendly Modena by Fraser (Where is the title edit button? - newbie on the site) I wanted to share a hotel I stayed in last year that was new at the time and just celebrated its one year anniversary. The hotel is Modena by Fraser and is one stop on the MRT from Asok Sukhumvit and was close enough for me to get to Soi Cowboy rather quickly. I had not heard of the Fraser hotel chain but the facilities were modern, clean and the staff great. It did not cost that much at about 45 dollars per night (which I know is somewhat expensive in BKK) but I thought I got a lot of value from the location and the hotel. It appears to be guest friendly because as I was being in my lovely date, we had to stop at the front desk because my key card had an issue at the elevator and no one at the front desk said anything to us. It was a short cab ride (less than 10 minutes) back to the hotel from Soi Cowboy because the MRT had closed. It is rated 4.0-4.5 stars, so take a chance and splurge on yourself. Here is a picture (for what it's worth). Enjoy 2527 Rama IV Road, FYI Center (at the junction with Ratchadaphisek Road) Khlong Toei District Bangkok 10110, Thailand
  19. I have one with a Chase card that allows PP entry to clubs. Used it BKK and several other lounges and it is worth it. You can get food, alcohol and showers before you board. It really made sense at BKK because of the late night departures. My chase card also allows up to 300 dollars in travel expenses not to mention the points for upgraded travel. Get a business credit card and enjoy the perks. I use points and miles to travel and it opens up the world. :D
  20. Qatar airlines will start flights to Chiang Mai beginning in December. They currently are at BKK, Krabi, and Phuket. Not an ad, but an advisory note. I like this because Chiang Mai was my real first stop in Thailand and I plan on heading back to see the sights and all the ladies I missed.
