Yes it is. Its about 75000 baht pr month, you can get a good 4 star hotel for that price. Below is a few hotels worth checking out. All around Sukhumwit. Book a hotel for a few days and then go hunting. You could also send them an email, but most will ask for money upfront. You will probably want a big room or a one bedroom if you stay longer. You have many hotels in this area to choose from. Adelphi Forty nine on soi 49. Adelphi grande soi 39. Novotel Living Legacy soi 29.

Hilton is the best hotel but it's not cheap. It's girlfriendly like most hotels in Bangkok.

I have stayed here a couple of times. It's ok, a decent Thai 4 star hotel. No problem taking a guest back to the hotel but it's not a monger Hotel. It's a bit down the soi, expect some walking up to Emporium. I can't remember but I don't think they have tuk tuk transport to sukhumvit anymore. All in all OK, but nothing more 😅

Yes they are girlfriendly. And highly recommended, it's a good hotel. I believe they are back at full strength and both towers are open. If possible book a room in Tower 2. Reception is in Tower 1.

If you are not into the nightlife I would suggest to stay between Asoke and Emporium shopping mall. The following are all decent/good 4 star hotels and cost around 2000 baht a night. Legacy suites in soi 29. Holiday Inn sukhumvit/soi 22 Novotel soi 18 Double tree by Hilton in soi 26, just behind Emporium with many massage places at your doorstep 😏

Dynasty Grande just around the corner in soi 6. They have smoking rooms and a fairly big jym. Don't think they have sauna but they have a big pool. Overall a good hotel with nice rooms and a small step up compared to the Dawin.

I stayed at the Movenpick 2-3 years ago. It's ok but nothing more. It's not 5 star even though they advertise it as that. I would call it an ok/good 4 star hotel. The hotel has lots of tour groups so often fully booked and noisey. It's girl friendly but I would not call it a monger hotel! Pullman Grande is in another league but also much more expensive. And they seem to have raised their prices lately. For my next stay I am booked at the Sofitel it was cheaper than the Pullman. Never stayed here before but very much looking forward to it.

It's visitor friendly, no problem :) I have just stayed here a week and liked it, funny enough I also stayed here several years ago and not much is changed. Many Japanese expats stay here long time, so it's pretty quiet. If possible get a room in tower 2 so you don't need to pass the reception all the time. Decent location, big well maintained rooms and nice polite staff. Breakfast is ok but a little boring after a week. I will stay here again.

I have done it a few times long time ago, not recommended. It's not comfortable and it's not safe and you won't see much. Transportation in Cambodia is not on the same level as in Thailand. #1 is to fly between PP and Siem Reap, #2 is to take a private taxi, #3 take the bus and last the boat :)
