I’ve been several times to Pantip and found it to be good, especially for camera accessories. There’s also another mall just down the road that houses clothing wholesalers with good quality clothing and low prices. I’ve since discovered that this is where many market stall holders buy their stock from. Great tip about Fortune Town westexpat3, I’ll head there next trip.

And always have a packet of tissues in your pocket (purchase from any 7-11 store) because some toilets are better than others.

Try Thai Friendly and then search by the weight filter. It’s worth the fee for a month of premium membership and you will have as many as you can handle.

I can recommend taking a few day tours. Ayutthaya is well worth the trip, as is the River Kwai Bridge. Worth doing an overnight stay there, plenty of great bars with very friendly ladies.

For a tourist activity, Flight of the Gibbon in Chang Mai is excellent. Great zip line experience.
