  1. I don't think so, or at least no one talks about it anymore. I went once about 15 years ago and had a below average experience (like most Soapies) and never went back. I feel most Soapies have had their day now, Bangkok included. The scene moved on and there's been better options for many years, both for punters and the girls. Sure there's a few in Bangkok still going, but very few compared to a decade or two ago in Chewit's heyday. With the exception of one or two very high end (and very high priced) places, there's cuter girls available elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Chiang Mai (and Bangkok) have the best girls in the highend Kapoo style places and freelance online through agents. When Thai mongers moved online, the Soapies started dying out.
  2. The bar scene isn't great if that's your thing, but it has a fairly good local massage scene with some excellent options. I've spent a lot of the past 18 months up there for work and when you get away from the tourist areas there's some fun to be had. Take a look at CNXseed website for the local scene and also Chiang Mai Locator for the more expat scene. I've written considerably about Chiang Mai on here, but I think most might be in the advance section. If you have access, take a look, I posted an update about a week ago. https://bangkok-addicts.com/topic/10676-chiang-mai/
  3. Never been myself, but I know a few friends who have been to the Navy shooting range, next to BTS Bangna. Not sure on the guns or the price, but it will be a fraction of the cost on the links you put there. Also if you're a keen archer, it's worth checking out Archery Thai on Ladprao. There's a really friendly archery scene there and you'll meet some friendly Thai archers. One of the many things I love about Thailand is how Thais will want to chat if they see you share a hobby.
  4. You can add any extras like this on, just ask when booking. A couple of years ago I asked about adding on the testosterone tests to the Bangkok Hospital health package and it was 2,300 baht extra. I didn't end up doing it there though and went to a private clinic as I was staying in Chiang Mai. The clinic was about the same price I think. There are a lot of clinics in BK that offer testosterone testing, but most also sell TRT. I wanted an independent test to ensure there was no one trying to sell me something I might not need. My results came back saying its all normal, perhaps at one of the TRT places they would have said the same, but would recommend getting tested separately to anyone with a vested interest in selling you TRT. If Dr Donna (mentioned above) offers it then she's be a good choice in Bangkok. She's known and trusted in the expat circles here and will certainly give an independent assessment of the results.
  5. I've been having a similar one every year for many years. I used Samitivej for years, but moved over to Bangkok Hospital a couple of years ago. I much prefer Bangkok Hospital over Bumrungrad/ Samitivej, both service and price.
  6. It's a Korean scrub massage. It translates as Red Scrub or something. A full spa course usually starts with the girls washing you down on a bed in a wet room, then pouring salt on you and then they scrub the salt in to exfoliate your skin. Before another good wash. You then move to the massage bad and have a hot towel massage, then oil massage. Most girls are properly trained and give good massages too. It's all finished with a HJ. Many girls will offer additional extras, but not always. Usually just topless (500 baht) or naked B2B (1000 baht) In the past places like Sazanka, the girls would walk along your back during the hot towel massage part. But it seems to be a dying skill now and they just climb on and kneel in places to put pressure. Some people find the salt part stings, but its a great relaxing way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon and great for your skin
  7. I loved Sazanka for years, its was my first Akasuri and was taken there by a dodgy Korean guy wanting me to open a restaurant for him about 16 years ago. The job never happened, but it started my love of Akasuri and have been going almost every month since. I followed Sazanka from Washington Square to Thonglor, but when they moved to Soi Pai Sing Tow I never got on with the space there. Too much walking around to various parts of a building for each part of the massage. Personally Sakura (old Sazanka Thonglor location) is my favorite and I also like Nico too. Although some of the girls at Nico are just wanting to upsell a FS option to get a good tip, rather than to offer a good massage and scrub. I occasionally go to Haru, but there's rarely any extras with the girls there other than the standard HJ. https://thai-how.com/shop_cat/akasuri Sadly JJ and Sweet Mango closed as both were great in their time too. Kochoran also closed down, but I was never a fan. Old ladies doing the scrub and even older rooms. Even when they moved the new location still wasn't an upgrade at all.
  8. Most hotel really don't care. If you're paying their 5* prices you're paying for the ability to do what you want. Unless you're causing other guest an issue, damaging their property or something highly illegal then you can do as you wish. The Siam is a great hotel, but far from downtown. Not the place you want bring back a girl straight from a Nana GoGo, partly location and partly not a hotel that wants girls brought back like that, but to invite a well dressed girl from TF there then certainly not an issue. Some girls may find it a little too HiSo, but most will love the amazing hotel. Your larger concern will be to get them to do something other then take selfies there 😁 If you're not wanting somewhere in a RL area, but some where nice. Look around the Ratchaprasong/ Siam area or Riverside. Lots a great hotels and none will care about a well dressed girl visiting. After a mix up with a rented location I once used a hotel suite to hold job interviews. Two girls (colleagues) arrived in the early afternoon, then had about 8 girls' come and go throughout the day as we interviewed them. No one said a thing to us and I'd have been annoyed if they had accused any of the girls of being prostitutes'.
  9. If you're looking to get away from the standard lower Sukhumvit ST hotels then this is a great list - https://www.themacho.co/2020/open-map-hotel-and-motel-resort-style/ Some very smart places around the city if you're wanting to fuck somewhere a little more highend, but don't want to stay the night. But these aren't a budget option or close to Sukhumvit. Places like this in Phuket, Hua Hin and Pattaya would be helpful to know if anyone knows of anywhere.
  10. The guy was posting multiple bad reviews so the hotel asked for police assistance after he refused to talk with them. The police mediate issues like this all the time, no charges just oversee a meeting to sort out a dispute. He refused to turn up to the police summons, so an arrest warrant was issued. Unless Daddy owns Red Bull, if you get a summons by the police you go. The guy deserves everything he got.
  11. After being here for so long, I rarely go to the gogo's now. They're fun, but do find there's so many better options for the money. I do seem to spend too much and after a few drinks I'm a sucker for lady drinks, especially in the hands on place. It's now an occasional treat. Beer bars have never been my thing, I'm always happy to have a chat with someone, but again after being here so long its the same conversation each time. After a health scare I try not to drink too much now too, so when I do go out for a few drinks prefer to do it with friends rather than bar girls. I use massage places the most as they're easy, fun and good value. There's so much choice I pick the style of place depending on my mood. It's easy to walk down places like 24 or 24/1 and see a large selection of girls before deciding on where to go into or now being able to check the girl available on Line before even venturing out. If I want a cute young spinner I'll head towards certain places, PSE then others, a Nuru session with a busty Thai there's a few options now or if I'm wanting a 2 hour tease and denial session then I have my go to girl too. There's somewhere to suit every mood/ perversion I'm feeling that day. I'm a big fan of Kapoo Clubs too. The girls are often stunning and very different to bar girls. I do like the enthusiasm many have with being with a farang for the first time, so often like to head out to random suburban kapoos to try them out. Many seem like they may not ever want to date a farang or go home with one from a club, but like to have tried us out in the privacy of a Kapoo club 😁 The ease of a quick BJ in a BJ Bar is great too. I found many went downhill a lot a few years back and only had old, larger ladies, but the new places like 7 Heaven and Bit Style have some cute younger girls and I'm happy to pay a little more for a nicer room and a cuter girl. One of the best things about BK is how there's an option for everyone
  12. Can't comment on joiner fees, but Park Hyatt is the better hotel by far. Probably less guest friendly as its pushes towards high end customers. Sofitel is still good and an easy location for both Nana and Cowboy. Landmark is the oldest and most run down of the three, but very guest friendly. The new Hyatt Regency (almost next door to Sofitel) could be a good option too.
  13. A HJ is included in the price. Any extras will depend on the girl. Some won't do any more, others will really push for more. But expected tips are usually 500 baht topless, 1000 baht naked. Not sure about BJ or FS, been offered but never accepted.
  14. Yes. It's included in the price. Other options depends on the girl, but they're not pushy usually.
  15. I wouldn't call Akane a Akasuri place, they offer a scrub at Ploenchit, but not a real Akasuri. Nico (Asoke) and Sakura (Thonglor) are my usual choices. Sazanka (Pai Sing Tow) was the place to go to for a long time, but personally don't like the new set up at Pai Sing Tow. Its more of a Japanese men's lounge with the spa attached. Sweet Mango is good too, but more about the girls and the extras rather than the scrub, although the girls give a good scrub too. There's a thread in the advanced section with further details on them all if you have access.
  16. My usual spot is Bankara Ramen on Sukhumvit 39. One of the best I've had outside of Japan. Also Ra-Men Restaurant next to the side entrance to Emporium on 24 is good. If I'm in the Chidlom area then Menya Itto in Erawan is my preferred choice. But the Ippudo chain that is opening up in most malls now isn't bad either.
  17. Have to agree with JS89 here. Very over priced for what it is and seem to only get away with serving average food at those prices due to its fame and purely to tourists. Yes, the view is nice and the food isn't bad, but at that price you can get so much better in this city
  18. As Nevinosimaya said there are some world class tattoo artists here. I've had a few done at Black Pig Tattoo. Amazing work. He also has some of the world's top artists visit at times doing sessions. He doesn't take walk ins, but if you're looking for something special, you won't get better.
  19. Vesper on Soi Convent has to be my favourite. AR Sutton if you like Gin. Also both Mandarin Oriental and Hyde & Seek, like others have already been mentioned are very good.
