I’ve stayed in the Sun & Moon Urban twice before it’s a nice enough hotel & close to all the bars so no issues there. I stayed in the balcony room once very spacious I didn’t actually use the balcony (but did fuck my girl all over the lounge!) & I guess if you smoke it will be perfectly fine for that. The hotel will ask for the girl’s ID when you bring them back but I think that’s standard for most hotels there anyway. Enjoy!

The Landmark is my goto hotel in BKK and I’m back there again next week having last been there early December…so I guess the work is still ongoing with the back entrance only in use?

If nothing else I won’t be sure on the performance levels after 20 LDs 😄

The Landmark is more a 4.5 star than 5 star I’d say still decent enough and can’t fault the location. Hyatt Regency a decent option for 5 star too.

Is there a reason why you don’t want to stay around Nana / Asok where all the action is?

Air Asia is fine as a no frills airline tbf especially for those from the U.K. & Europe that are used to easyJet & Ryanair I mean they make Air Asia look like Singapore Airlines! 😄

Can you not just change seat? Or are all window & aisle seats taken?

Have stayed at Citrus Suites before yes nice rooms comfy bed & fast wifi have certainly stayed at worse places!

Unless you have a reason not to I’d always bring the girl back. There’s no ID checks at the Landmark you just walk straight in. I always book via my hotels.com account so to get the free nights etc so don’t know about booking direct or in person. A taxi or TukTuk from SC I guess will be about 100B I’d cross the main road first so you are on the right direction of traffic (this’ll be obvious when you are there!).

I’d say the Landmark is a 4.5 star hotel the rooms are fine I’ve taken many a girl back without any issues. Not as swanky as a 5 star hotel like Sofitel or Hyatt Regency but you’ll struggle to get one of those for under 5000B a night. Landmark is a perfect location for Soi 4 / Soi 7 / Nana Plaza and only a short tuk tuk from Soi Cowboy so no girl will insist on a ST hotel. Never used a ST hotel so can’t answer that bit!

I normally stay at the Landmark which is about 4000B a night but there’s other nearby hotels cheaper like Nana hotel & Majestic Suites 3) I’ve always taken back to my hotel but then I’ve always stayed nearby. So long as you are within a 5-10 min walk or short TukTuk away you’ll be fine. If you were a bit further out the girl may prefer a ST hotel. 4) I guess a nickname would be ok but I’ve never booked online escorts to my hotel before.

Or just head to Wood Bar for a BJ and you’ll walk straight past it 😀

Just use Grab? Can order an SUV know the price in advance and pay by card if you prefer?

Turns out it was because I was accessing the app from the U.K. it only works when you are in a country with Grab…

I stayed before and yes it was nice. Big rooms & great value for money and also thought the beds were comfy and the wifi was amongst the fastest I’ve experienced in BKK hotels.

How much is a taxi from Swampy to Nana these days? Only have 400B of cash on me at the moment for when I arrive but I don’t think it will be enough? If not I’ll have to change some up at the airport on arrival or catch the train

I’ve been staying at the Landmark since 2017 and have never had any ID checks on girls. The reception desk is too far away from the lobby door for a start!

Why book a hotel where there are restrictions on who / how many you can bring back? There are countless other hotels similar to the Dynasty Grand and in the same area that have no restrictions so just stay there instead

Hi all, Since my last visit to Asia I’ve got a new phone (but kept the same number) and deleted the grab app from my old phone. But when I try to log into Grab on my new phone it keeps saying mobile number not recognised so I can’t log in? I can’t create a new account either as it again does not recognise my mobile number. Anyone had a similar issue before with their Grab account when they changed phones? Any advice welcome!

On the subject of taxis is it possible to pay for your taxi from the airport (Swampy) by credit card at the airport before you go? Also does Grab still work in Thailand?
