  1. Tagging on from this thread, has anyone stayed at Okura Prestige? Thinking of visiting in September for a few nights!
  2. Also have to second on Hyatt regency. Way better - and when you bring chicks that you've met off Tinder - they're always so stoked with the room size. Also the Rooftop bar and a cigar is a must! Also Breafkast is awesome- i got offered the breakfast package upon check in. 100% worth it.
  3. I have a mate who works for Airbnb (corporate office) , the most common complaints he gets from airbnb users is that they dont receive the same service as that of a hotel. i.e Clean sheets everyday and new towels (or even spare ones to replace used ones) so keep in mind; when you do stay at a hotel, you get clean bedsheets, clean towels etc. With an Airbnb you only get maybe two sets? and the convenience factor of room service etc. I enjoy using Airbnb, but usually when i travel to Japan, South Korea, and with a group of mates - use the lounge/ kitchen area to drink up. But when it comes to Solo travel i feel hotels are superior because of the above.
  4. You're visiting again in April? which room do you usually stay in? or you really dont care because all the rooms are fine? hmm, i am also thinking of staying at the hyatt regency, i guess sofitel, hyatt regency and landmark do have the most advantageous location in comparison to Park Hyatt. Making me lean towards Hyatt regency now. Thanks all for your input!
  5. G'day all, Just wondering in terms of being low key with bringing back a girl to your room, which Hotel would be more subtle/ which have you experienced is more discrete? i also searched on the forum and others that Sofitel doesnt have a "joiner fee" does Park Hyatt? im still tossing between which i should stay at. Park Hyatt has a way better pool and the rooms look flashy, Sofitels look slightly outdated but the price is way better (more to spend on the "joiners" am i right?) OR if you lads can recommend other 5 star places you've had experiences with that were positive? Really appreciated the advice!
