  1. I've never had a problem with bedbugs in Thailand. I did have a problem in San Diego one time.
  2. CitiChic Boutique Suites Soi 13 Sukhumvit http://www.citichichotel.com/ I had a brief but pleasant stay at CitiChic in late June of this year and wanted to share my experiences. CitiChic is a great alternative if you are seeking accommodation that falls between a luxury establishment and a dive. The hotel is relatively new and while the rooms are not overly spacious they are comfortable. All rooms have a large LCD television, in room safe, stocked minibar and great bathroom facilities. The breakfast is of decent quality but the selection is a bit limited. The pitfalls of this property are it's location, the service, and breakfast is only served until 10:30am. Be prepared to hike to Sukhumvit and back if you don't use a motorbike taxi. The walk is around 10 minutes from the closest BTS station. The hotel does say that they have complimentary TukTuk service to Sukhumvit but during my stay it was not in service. Speaking of service, while the hotel staff was usually friendly do not expect registration to check your girl's ID and for some reason I did not receive my early am wake up call. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if there weren't better options currently available such as Dream.
  3. Hotels are always adjusting their rates based upon demand. The lower the demand the lower the rate. I know some hotels in Pattaya are offering one night free after paying for one week. Sounds like a good deal provided the other 6 nights are at a reasonable rate.
  4. I've heard many good things about it but if you want super cheap then head to Nap-Inn. That place is a true hole in the wall.
  5. is pysched about the Bangkok forum
