It's back up again.

Same for me. I haven't been able to log on all afternoon. It's not browser specific, as I tried on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge. Is it a scheduled down time for maintenance? Evil

The Oriental Residence is a relatively new luxury hotel at 110 Wireless Road in Bangkok. It's very close to the U.S. Embassy and shouldn't be confused with the venerable Mandarin Oriental on the Chao Phraya River. I had an early-morning appointment at the U.S. Consulate at the beginning of the week and wanted a hotel nearby. I got a special offer from the Oriental Residence and decided to book it for one night. I paid for a standard room, but was upgraded to a corner suite. The swimming pool: Bow really liked the poolside conical lounging seats. "Like bird," she commented. The pool bar: The Oriental Residence has a lot going for it. It's only a year old; has a convenient but quiet location; well-furnished and equipped with everything you expect from a luxury hotel; the staff is very friendly and helpful. But it's also clearly aimed at business travelers who aren't themselves paying the bills for their rooms. Unless you can swing a very significant discount, there are upscale hotels in Bangkok that give you better value for money. Evil
