  1. I was debating taking this new Airport Rail vs. Taxi and ultimately decided on Taxi simply due to convenience of door-to-door service of Taxi vs. needing to transfer to BTS at Phaya Thai station. It was close call since my plane is due to arrive on 5 pm, Tues in September, which I heard was peak of Rain season and traffic during late afternoon combined with possible rain/flood in Bangkok is said to cause long traffic nightmare.
  2. The Hotel's website was also in English. There was tab for Japanese version for some reason, but none for Thai. But it is good idea about information desk, I think I will ask at the desk to write it down for me just in case. Thank you for the suggestion.
  3. Speaking of Cloths, just how hot and humid is Bangkok in September? I am planning on vacationing in Bangkok for 10 days in September, but vast majority of my clothes are business casual, almost all long sleeves. In many of the pictures and videos I've seen, it seems almost everyone is wearing shorts and T-Shirts. Would I be making huge mistake to pack any long sleeves shirts and suit pants?
  4. On question of taking Taxi from Airport, what would be the best and least confusing way to give direction to the Hotel I am staying at? On both Travelocity itinerary of hotel information, and at agoda.com, the address of Hotel is written in English and I can't seem to find it written in Thai anywhere. Question is, how fluent are most official taxi driver at front of airport in English? would every driver know the hotel address if I give them the printout which has the address in English? Or would it be best if I print out the map from google map which has some of the streets in Thai and give the driver the map instead? Appreciate any tip on this.
