  1. Here is some info on Kanchanaburi. Not sure on prices but would imagine they are somewhere between Pattaya and Bangkok prices. http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/42565-kanchanaburi-bars-girls/ http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/94091-kanchanaburi-and-river-kwai-bridge/
  2. Sukhumvit 38 (BTS Thong Lo) has a large selection of great street good every night. It usually gets busy from around 1800 onwards but you do also have some vendors who set up shop later and stay open till later. You will find all sorts of street food here including that famous pad Thai place. Good pad Thai as well not that shit they give you on khao San road. You can also take dishes to other vendors to sit down to eat. Here are a few videos on sukhumvit 38.
  3. Think by the Red Cross there is a snake show although doubt you will see anything as big as the one above.
  4. Soi 11 seems to have a nice range of places to eat. Add to the above Rosabieng and Firehouse.
  5. Richard Barrow posted a pic of Nana earlier. Looked like business as usual. Thursday should be a quiet day with it being the Kings birthday. Hope this all goes away soon.
  6. Don't think it will affect the farang entertainment areas tbh
  7. I like the way I was made thanks.
  8. Sorry but this is pretty funny haha I actually have booked a few weeks at white Patong for January. I stayed on soi Sansabai lay time and had a meal at white on a few occasions. I found the food to be excellent and like you all say location is the best.
  9. Great video. Reminds me why i fell in love with the country in the first place.
  10. Another vote for taming lodge. I've stayed there 2 years in a row and no complaints at all. It's actually a really nice hotel with open air corridors. Location wise it's excellent too.
  11. not sure who you asked mate but I asked Lamokk and he sorted it within a few hours. Should be working now for all. Cheers LM
  12. Are you really asking this question mate? 555 Meal for 2 in a restaurant can be anything from 500 bhat to 3000 bhat or even more.

  16. I picked my hotel based on the same criteria as you and ended up going for Grand President on soi 11. Maybe check out that one or one of the other hotels on soi 11.
  17. Lohas Suites on Soi 2 Sukhumvit (formerly Amari Residence) could fit the bill. http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/lohas_suites_sukhumvit_by_superhotel.html Their rooms go from 2 people to 4/6 people with 2/3 bedroom suites.
