Retro 39 is a nice hotel. I stayed there in december 2016 and the location was nice ( very close to Bts skytrain and to 2 big malls). It's guest friendly. I tried to book there again for my following trip but it was already fully booked. I now prefer to stay at 41 Suites which is located in the same Phrom Phong area and better imho than Retro 39.

I stayed 3 nights at that small hotel in september 2011...Indeed a nice and well-located hotel with no joiner fee...Did not try their food since many other restaurants in the neighbourhood...

I spent 5 nights there last month between my flights to Indonesia, Philippines and Phuket...So i checked in 4 times at that hotel... Very close to Nana Plaza and the room was ok...Wifi worked well too...The only bad thing : The Magnetic card problem as someone already said, it didn't work everytime and i had to go back downstairs to ask the reception to fix it...
