Last time i've been there must have been 2004/2055. The area has developed itself into a gay orientated place. (not Wong's) The Malaysia hotel lobby was full of boys looking for customers. Not that i have something against gays ofcourse. I remember the madam guesthouse :D i've slept there one night when i came back and there was no room free at Lee4. you are right, it was even more eccentric :P I've found this link on youtube, i will definitly pay Wong's a visit when i come back, for old times sake.

Never saw Wong's so clean :) I have stayed for months in the Lee4 guesthouse down the road and went there nearly every day. Behind the bar it was full of musicvideos and he had moved his fridge on the other side of the bar so you could take your own drink and you didn't have to get up :D Plaghat, i will insert the link about his passing away... http://gampell.com/wong.htm

This was my favorite spot when i used to stay in BKK early 90's. I got along pretty well with Wong and since he died his brother Sam took over the place.
