very good place to stay the rooms are where very good when I last stayed about 18month ago, prices seemed to go up ,ok if you have a deal, but this was a fav of mine at one time, rooms have all u need nice and light,small sofa chilling out watch tv, iron and board in case u need it ,good bathroom. good little gym to keep you ticking over,running machine x trainer, small selection of weights , pool ok to take a dip in on hot afternoon, not to many sun beds, reception good no problems with guest, only one 4 me though, days of more than one over, I never handed id over but may have changed. soi 11 as mentioned is a good place to stay, I like mulligans the Irish bar downstairs serve some good beers and food good also. great place to start the night of , no lady's seen in there working, may be odd freelancer, used to get full Friday sat with the soi 11 crowed going next door, or on to levels or insanity, recommend place to sat if you have a good deal buddie

Lohas has entry from both soi 4 and 2 , stayed many times , this used to b a great hotel , getting a bit worn is some rooms but still nice, good that washing machine in room , if you here for a few days, only thing i do not like to much is shower in the bath, as i have had a few slips in that bath nearly knock my self out . No bother bring any one back , there used to b a night watch man on soi entry at night but he just says hello and that's it, reception don't even see u if u in building 2 , Forgot good pool and gym .

Stayed here many times , once u book in no one never have to see who you come with (little or no interaction with the reception ), the newer rooms if you can say that , are at the rear of the Hotel , there is a side road, ally way goes straight to back building, the rooms are not bad, clean never had a problem there, the rooms are newer that the front building(mainly old style wooden paneling on walls, unless they have re done then front building but was just there other week. There is a fella every now and then that sits at the entry to back building he may be a security guy? never said anything to me though. if you are coming just for the Action then great hotel ok for a we end but if longer for me need a hotel with gym and pool. (they tried to charge me 500bht to use grand dynasty gym and pool one day). Reception lady's are good, I like the way you can sit out front order a beer watch the soi go by. Also if u need anything to help you after a skin full there is a little fella sits by Charlies Café, sells all the Viagra stuff, not original of cause not but I have got stuff before from him and all been ok ,

I love an excuse to take my missis to JJ Market, i do one lap with her, then find a seat in the paella man bar, rather a big chap cooking them giant paellas, but the beer is cold , and the cocktails fab on a hot day, music is great different guys coming to do a DJ spot ye "cool laid back music, Missis is happy of shopping, only one problem I am no use in helping carry the bags home, can only just get my self to taxi rank outside, so +1 for JJ.

When i was a bit flush i used to stay on soi 11 at Citdines ,or A Loft, we where regulars at Shock, u are so right it is like the Star Wars bar, but we had a some realy good nights here, (i do not know if it is still open ? good boy now), go out do the bars , get Taxi , sure it was 300 bht to get in, but i never every arrived here sober so no excuses. I am a good happy Drunk and not had many problems, so tend to get on with folk, so Shock is ok 4 me, once arrived and a gang of Indian lads having a right session, yes true, so ended up having a right laugh with them, they must have won the Indian Lottery coz they where on a mission. I did try to get a round in (true your honor) but truth I can not truly remember, got chatting to a older lady I know from Morning Night Bar there making a few quid, not my type or her friend, but they both woke up in my room, I was as drunk as 50 men, or so I am told. So happy they had not had there way with me, (sure I would have remembered hahah ) paid them as fast I could and got them in a taxi b4 any one seen me. citidines , Know this oldest post but just in case any one still likes Shock ,

Hi Know this was April topic, but just spent the last 3 we end in the Nana Hotel, yes agreed it is run down now , but if you get up on the 7th floor rooms seem in a bit better nick,, ok not gleaming any more , and the tap fell of on my big toe, climb in bath shower, but is was clean room ,beds are massive ,had a window looking out the back of soi 4 , so lighter than the prisons on floor 4 with internal looking windows very dark, But we had a great time by the pool , not loud just chilled out few beers , no happy hr here price a bit high Tiger Light, the food also a bit on the over charge price, but he ho "" for 1490 Bht it good to have a pool the bubbling whirlpool hidden behind the trees looks like it could do with a scrub , and I am sure a few couples rub a dub , in that water thinking they can not be seen ??? But all in all ok for a lads we end,

Also , if you are in any of the hotels at the bottom end of soi 2 you can cut through Lohas Suites used to be the Amari , back alleyway brings u out just opposite OMNI Tower , ///soi 2 to soi 4// just walk under the front of the building of to the left as you walk though you will see a a small parking area continue walking towards the left edge you will then see the back entry on to soi 4, security guy in a hut , he is cool will not stop u ,

Grand Dynasty soi 6 has a great fitness room, all the weights u could need running machines and x trainers, and a decent pool out side , I love the place , rooms ok well within ur budget , no dramas with new friends coming back , easy walk to either soi 4 or soi 8 , I like the back building better , great beds walk in showers not bathes , and the staff are good also , only thing I did not like is no iron for me kit ,

The Nana Was always the emergency Hotel when we had a fast ball get together and no time to book before, I have stayed there a few times like mentioned in Tequila post above they have made some improvements, not so much like a dungeon , I once had one of the rooms that face inwards to the other wall of the hotel grim to say the least. And one time I stayed in one of the big rooms with a Jacuzzi, but did not dare use it looked like most of the jets had something blocking them ?? they have seen some Action I bet, have no idea if they still have them rooms. But one thing we did like was chilling by the pool easy to order a few drinks and some food, sit there lads would come round , have good afternoon then shower and across the road. I have been staying in Dynasty Inn across the Rd, think 1650, normal room out the back building, but just for a challenge I may stay the Nana for our New Years get together ,4 days I can handle that, and to be honest this will be a big session, like last year so just need a place to lay my head no matter what state I come back in. And they have opened the club agene so if I fancy a change I can go there, re fraise that if I would like a change of venue ? if u get my drift

Stayed here the other week a different change of location and up market move from may we end before at the Nana Hotel, Great new hotel ,GF friendly, i got it walk in 2000 bht, but cheaper on there own site, i was looking this morning as i am on my way up for a few days Room was very good, bed soft pillows soft bathroom was good, frosted glass front to the bed room , good TV so u can have a night in to recover in peace and quiet, the girls like it , i had the Normal room i not to sure if they do any other type, they did offer me two single bed when i was stood there with a friend ,(not good at hummer ) front desk very helpful, English is not to good ,but not bad either,breakfast is in a cafe type area to the front , ok it was fresh, just coffee for me , but the girls sometime like a snack before they depart, No real walk of shame have to go past front desk , but did not ask for id ,ON TWO occasions from me.seems to be a busy place, will say again yes defiantly likes it , Down side no pool or gym that i could see .

Diabolic 100% Matei had a few mates over last week and they booked rooms in Boss, it was appalling , we have been using this place since it opened , and it has gone down the pan, one of my mates room flooded , he ended up having a right go at them no movement just ok sit in foyer till fixed , he wanted a new room , they made him wait 2 hr (by the way this was 3 in the morning ) and they would not budge on a new room ,lodes of problems with the rooms now , this is not the first Occasion that we have had problems here,ok in the beginning was a cracking little number but new management have taken over and they seem intent on making there money back before any major repairs are done. The last room i was in was stinking of Mould damp. What pisses me of is when the lads come over this is there Holiday , they don't earn to much just normal fellas, so getting the right hotel is important , the price always looks right at Boss, so that is why they went for it , i did send some advice to them that things where slipping at Boss and unless they booked the suit on the top floor they may have a good chance of getting a duff room, 4 out of 6 had duff rooms. I stayed at the NANA last we -end first time in ages due to getting in late traffic from Patts was murder You know what "yes it is 1950s but the room was spotless bed was good for me slept like a baby,the staff are bang on ,regimented but will be there in a jiffy if needed at 1400Bht, Ok the brass are all Scared to death because they think there are ghost in there so they don't like to stay to long and defo not on there own. Never again for me and my buddys,

Phachara and boss are regular hotels in reality, my mate used to live in PS for a year when it first remodelled and opened in the new format, so there are some long term rental people in there still i believe, it is good option as many have written about it i have been there about 4 times ,there does not really seem any atmosphere to the place, as for boss they have some suite rooms on the very top floor, they are ok we booked about 3/4 of them one NYE when we came up with a group of mates, they are ok only have small sitting room with a TV, not really worth spending the extra. If you want a suite look at soi 10 centre point ,also Omni towers on soi 4 , bit run down but ok , clean ,and the added interest of the Uzbek i and east European Brass that live there in there,(have seen a few growlers live in Omni but also one or two nice ones) not for me though, also a good one i have used was the Rembrandt service towers,(DONT GET MIXED UP WITH HOTEL THEY ARE NOT TO GIRL FRIENDLY) i have had a one bedroom in here is was great , big comfortable .but slightly out of the way soi 20 , but can get for soi 18 to it. As for the PP this is a normal hotel , i have stayed here a lot my kids love the place, the room we have is on the on suit ,biggish, but for a single fella not really worth the extra money, ok you get to use the lounge , but this is only good at breakfast as the Man Unt bar is the breakfast room is bedlam in the mornings..still a good hotel though and not far form climax and Aloft clubs .

Hi Lolo Not Yhanee mate but BPH experience My Ex missis had her nose done at the BPH, cosmetic wing , was a good job , i could not see the need for it but she loved it so did all her mates, it is like a competition amongst them to see who has the next bit done. Cost she never full disclosed the full cost ,but i seem to remember 30/50 Thousand Bht ,but i have no idea really. She had the lot done to her beak and it helped her to fantasy land of the Hi So small pointed nose , Hope this helps mate

Hi Mate If you are staying in Nana area there are are tonnes of places depends on your budget and how far you want to be from the entertainment, not to be rude but sounds like you are an modern couple , if that is how they say it , any way my recommendation for the place to say would be the Lohas suites has what you require, The hotel splits on to both soi 2 arrivals , and soi 4 fun town, basically they have a entry right on to soi 4 if you decide to bring a extra guest no one really sees you , there is a guy that i sometimes see at the front door not often though. There is a sentry on the soi 4 walk way but he just gets up and salutes you , it is a decent hotel anyway good gym pool and good rooms. Think they are charging 3000 bht + now but a good option.

Secrets Hotel and bar right in the action good rooms and great bar right on walking street never really had any problems with noise Tim's boutique second Rd ,good spot can go either soi Bukow, of on to beach road , walking street, good rooms nice place , also has a decent bar on second road just round the corner form hotel, Areca Lodge soi Diana good rooms right in the idle of action and not much noise ,swimming pool , soi Bukow is now also a good day time place , Theses are 3 I use when I have mates come to visit, all decent value

lev123 mate Yes true locked every night now , went out to watch the world cup final did not leave my room till late on soi 11,cut through to go to soi 4 must have been 00:30ish, walked through the car park got to the gate and was now fully locked. Walked back , the lady in security hut at the car park entrance , was waiting for me she know but did not bother to stop me ,ok no big deal, I had a talk to her ,asked her if locked all time now at night , she just shrugged her shoulders say may be ? So now I just walk a bit slower up soi 11 so not sweating like OJ when I get to where every I am going, Andy

Mate this is a massive topic, the best advice I can give is get to be a member on Thai Visa web site , and in the health section ask Sheryl, she is the font of all knowledge on subjects like this she will advise you on the options available in Thailand. But I do know this it is not that cheap to come here for something as serious as liver transplant , but I would think cheaper than Australia on the private option. Hi Jim Ibis is not a bad option on soi 4 mate, think my mates paid 1400/500 Bht when they stayed ,nice and clean ,Ibis is Ibis same all over the world rooms small ,but still comfy,no pool i also think no Gym,,good bar meeting area in the foyer, can sit and relax with a beer,no problem with the ladies if one, have no idea about more than one , good location on 4 , not to far to walk to the first hillary bar or Strikers, then up the soi you have the normal suspects, lots of good bars to have beer in and find a friend for the duration.

Guys i have never know this be locked , i did think so one time but the chain on the bottom ,only closes it so far , always use this when coming back from climax to soi 4, i minght be wrong if they now lock it , but i did use it in April. + 1 for the GP always had a good time at this hotel

Hi Georgeblow All depends on what i am doing and who is coming up, i like soi 4 if the lads come up from Pattaya, easy to get together , but if on my own i like soi 11, I have used the dynasty grand for the last two we -enders, good gym and swimming pool, location just right, reception do not bother ur date just take ID, have a restaurant on the front food ok for a bite before getting out. Across the road Phachara Suites is also good nice rooms but i have never used any facilities here, always seem to had a bit to much to drink when i stay here. I used to love the amari on soi 2/4 it has changed name now , but was a great place to start with rooms food gym ,pool Lohas Suites now this is still a good option not sure if there prices are the same, Boss but this has gone down hill a bit , rooms need a re ferb On soi 11 still use citadines decent little place small pool gym ok, rate still under 200Bht, right in the middle of the action, room is bright and clean. Aloft special treat we ends , had a great time last time room was modern , hotel was buzzing with like minded people party time, they have levels club there i did not make this either but a few of my mates had a decent time here, i like Oskar across the road the food is brill and they do have ladys who are Brass that go in there .president palace is also a good place, I do feel a change coming on when i get back next month, i was looking up towards soi 22, Grand Millennium is a good hotel, my mate gets a good discount there so may be i will pop in there for a few days.

It is Girl friendly ,they had a little desk on the left as you walk towards the lift , they usually ask your friend to deposit there ID card , that used to be the case, , before it used to be at the concierge desk. It was a Favourite place of mine once , then the superior room was starting to show there tiredness, but still nice , but there are some nice options avalible now in other places for the same amount , Pros great position, can relax and watch the world go by having a coffee , or some food on the front walk way, good bar in the basement food +, good gym was free for residents list time i went. Once work paid for me to the executive floor , that ws a nice change, rooms a bit bigger, don't think i would pay for it my self.

You are getting to old to be chasing happy hour ,especially on pints, thats where it went wrong mate ,just to let u know mucker i had some mates over for a stag do the other week and they liked the bar, started each night here, the lads had a few hrs on big Bernie's stag do here , he was dressed as Giant chicken though, glad no one tried to cook him. sorry i missed u last leave i did pop in to see u ,but u are a busy man now ,

Don't know if there is , But you can cut through from soi 7 opposite the beergarten , there is a hotel(think it is called the park) walk along it s front you will a small green gate go though this past happy feet massage , keep going across the car park, to a small walk way this brings you out opposite the Ambassador Hotel.

Phachara Suites , the rooms are class, also good f you get a get a deal on one of the booking sites , alsways found there own site to be exspensive, Grand Suk it was showing signs of aging but this was only from some fella i was gassing to in a bar, But the Grand Dyasty over the road from PS is also a good option gym is very good ,and they have a good pool, there updated rooms are in good order, have stayed here many times and never had a problem with bringing back a friend (never had two together so cant comment here).

Mr Muldoon I have stayed there about three times i think, first time was good booked one of the Junior Suite rooms, bit bigger and had a corner ,side soft settee type thing , ok for extra games .rooms have the new type of glass shower unit ,so make sure u pull the blind down when takinga dump ,or may be not ?? The water was a nightmare , could never get it hot when i was there.Last time i had a superior small and smelly due to the damp , showing were and ter now ,it is a cheap enough option, but i found it hard to relax there On the night i was not on the beer,could not settle down had to go out again. I also had a problem with my credit card here, the bank would not exept the hotel, so had to pay in cash,i only stoped two nights then moved to Grand Dynasty. They have a nice little bar just in front foya i had a beer whilst witing for the las to get ready there , friendly enough hotel run by an Indian family, think they have a few on soi 4 now..
