What makes you think you got something? If there aren't any symptoms, why self medicate? And even then why not go to a doctor anyway?

Totally agree with this part. And I think it makes zero sense treating yourself for an STD you likely don't have, when you could just wait to see if you have it and then get the antibiotics, if you need them. The only way this makes sense is if you have a wife and kids at home and you want to make sure there's no catastrophic damage.
