  1. Hi All! Planning a trip in Feb 2019 and I'm debating changing my usual hotel choice. I tend to go to either Aloft or Fraser Suites because of their Soi 11 location. I especially like Fraser suite for the size of the room, the balcony and having Above Eleven in the same building. I've just seen the new Hyatt Regency popping up online with the official opening coming up this fall (Oct/Nov 2018). The hotel looks fantastic online, great room/pool and a nice location right on sukhumvit near the Nana bts stop. 140$ per night is a bit above what I usually pay but the fancy features might be w
  2. Hi All, this is my first post here. Just wanna use this chance for a big thx for this great community. I got following situation, I will arrive at DMK Airport on Friday around 10 to 10:30 PM so its unlikely that I will reach Nana before 11. Are there pharmacies around Nana which are open until midnight? Would like to get some goodies before heading to Nana Plaza :D . Couldnt figure out online how long Chareon and the others are open. Appreciate your answers. Best regards, Dan
  3. In 1992 I went to Bangkok as a normal photo taking tourist and did not join in the night-life. I am planning to return and this time I want the action of Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, etc. so i will want to stay near but will be on a limited budget. Therefore i am seeking advice and recommendations for hotels in these areas that are in the 500/1000b range. I only need a small room with AC, TV, warm shower, wifi, in-room safe box, and security from theft. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
  4. This hotel is one of my favorites in the nana area. I really like the location. Just a few meters to the nana bts. Right next to soi 11. The hotel is modern and the on-line price is ok given the area. If you book on-line the price is 1162b for a std room. The breakfast is not included. If you walkin or call in the price is 1900b. I walked in and said i would pay cash if they honored the on-line price that i paid for last time1162 but the said i had to pay 1900 unless i went on line. I don't understand that reasoning especially given that last time i booked 2 days online and extended to a 3rd
  5. THis is the second time i have stayed at swiss park. I like the location in sukhumvit. It is easy to get to by taxi from the airport. It is close to the nana bts stop which makes using the bts easy and fast. It is only about 30m to the bts station. The hotel has a car park and a good morning buffet. The food is not special but good. the hotel is getting pretty run down and not very well maintained. The pool is cleaned on a regular basis but is in decay. The chairs are torn and need replacing. the rooms are guest friendly and large. but they are dirty and need updating. I spilled some water o
