Canberra4u
So have finally bitten the bullet and booked at the Westin. Any suggestions on the most effective pattern of exploring from there? Cheers

little_me
Are you aware the lobby isn't on ground floor? Ride the elevator up to, I think the 7th floor? Really, not an issue when I was there (over 10 years ago) and didn't have any issue bringing girls back. Even had a girl that I met at a massage parlor that agreed to meet me at my hotel after she got off work show up at my door after giving her my room number. Just, kinda different... If you're gonna stay there, don't be surprised when you're ushered in the elevator before checking in. (actually having to wait for an elevator twice every time I came / left was irritating, but they were quick). mrfreeze
   The staff there once helped my bar fine of the night get from the taxi to the room in a wheel chair they had in the lobby. What a night, vomited over by her in the taxi, her arguing with the taxi driver over the cleaning fee he wanted (I was happy with his request and she was not) then her dropping to the ground legless drunk which lead to them getting a wheel chair and escorting us to the room. A couple hours of me looking after her while she dry reached and slept on and off was rewarded with her waking up horny as hell later in the night and climbing on top and going for it... 3 times that night. Ahhhhh memories
Adore
I like the Westin Sukhumvit. It's always in my top 5 hotels for consideration when in Bangkok. Lobby is on the 7th floor which means you (and the girls) walk past the ground floor doorspeople all the time. Definitely girl friendly (all Starwood/Marriott properties in Bangkok are from my experience). If using outcall agencies, the front desk does call your room to confirm that you're expecting a visitor, then after the girl leaves calls you again to make sure everything is okay.

(but, honestly, as near as that situation I was ever in she ran to the loo and got sick from bouncing on me cowgirl style, and I walked her back to the bar I found her hoping someone there would care.) roadglide
Walkout the entrance turn left cross the main road and you are at Soi Cowboy. Walk out the entrance turn right you can walk to Soi 15 where the Therme is at. Walk out the entrance and up to the sky train, one or two stops and you are at Nana. Go downstairs and you are at Terminal 21 for food and shopping. Great location...I normally stay at the Marriott across the street.
