Ncage
Hey everyone, I’m looking for tips/advice for a bike touring trip I’m planning for later in December. I plan to follow this route from Bkk to Phuket. https://www.keadventure.com/holidays/thailand-road-cycling-tour-bangkok-phuket Any general advice for road safety, hotels, sights, food etc would be greatly appreciated. I’m an experienced rider and feel comfortable riding on highways so this route seems doable. I’m considering skipping the initial leg and taking the train to Hua Hin to avoid heavy traffic though. Thanks!
petehoax
https://siambiketours.com/cycling-tour/bangkok-to-phuket-east-coast-cycling-tour/ , check the itinerary and tour map there. they do the tour several times a year, so i assume they have picked a good route by now... they start in phetchaburi.

dannyth
You are pretty brave ... I enjoy cycling round the airport but that would destroy me
Johny333
I am a bicycle fanatic myself and spend each year a few weeks in the North of Thailand. The road safety situation is very bad here and there are a lot of hit and run accidents, I wouldn’t recommend it.
