Dieter Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 01 November 2011 - Although northern districts in BKK are badly affected by the flooding, the barrier have been working well so far and lower Sukhumvit and Silom areas remain dry. But for the parts of Bangkok that have been flooded I've seen estimates from 4-8 weeks. i have heard that the next high tide is not until Nov 15 and will take approximately 2 weeks for all the water to drain out to sea.
