Hi,

Am not familiar with that particular pharmacy. Which one would you recommend for Kamagra jelly, I never buy any shit from the street, but I'd still like to bring a box back home.

When ever I travel I always bring my owned meds from OZ, I find the med here work differently or weaker to the one from home including the genuine cialis, Viagra, valium etc and it almost the cost as back home. As the op say do not buy med on the street you are definitely wasting your money and you don't know what's in it. I stay at Soi 11 last time the pharmacy next to the near ambassador hotel sell genuine med.

It's been a while, but I'll check out their meds. I'd be surprised unless they are well "connected" for lack of a better word. I know the pharmacy next to the gas station on Soi Nana used to sell everything, but the last couple of times they had stopped selling a few pills such as Valium.

Still on the topic of meds (although not just pecker meds), for those of you who get around a bit: Valium, Xanax, Ativan as well as all the generic pecker meds are still 100% legal OTC in Cambodia. Valium is also available in Laos, although I just returned from there and it seems likely to change.

Bought a box of 50 from the pharmacy next to Bully's pub for 1500 next to nana plaza. Time will tell if I got a good deal or if I got screwed. That's also assuming I make it past customs, perhaps I should try one out before taking that chance… ;)

.... I bought a pack of 10 around Easter from the chemist by the petrol station turning left out of Soi 4 (?)

I also buy from this drugstore and have done so since -98, only place that lets me buy Sidegra for the official Thai price at 180 baht for a 4X100 mg pack, other places I've tried wants me to pay extra for "Dr's Fee"!

Cheapest I've found in Pattaya is a drugstore on Soi Dianna,  lefthand side before Soi Bua Khao, that sell it for 200 baht.

Prices are all over the place for this stuff. Also I find that many pharmacies run out of stock while others gain stock.

I had one pharmacy quote me 780 baht for a box of 4 sideagra. I asked him if he was being serious then laughed and walk away. Walked two blocks got the same box for 200 baht.

Not Bangkok but Pattaya (Tim's pharmacy on Second road) I bought a box of Sidegra(4 x 100mg) for 350 baht. Seems prices are variable depending on pharmacy.

A few observations on the psychology involved in dealing with a pharmacy in Thailand.  In my experience, female pharmacists are far more likely to accommodate you than a male.  Just as their are prigs in our home countries, there are prigs in Thailand who are not going give out a medicine needing an RX which I think even a Z-pak and Doxycycline need, technically, in LOS.

However, I have gotten both mainly by going in and describing my symptoms or making up my symptoms and advising the pharmacist which antibiotic has worked for me in the past.  A Z-pak is very easy to come by and will cure chlamydia and I would strongly recommend either buying the doxycycline in Thailand or through one of the legitimate online companies that offers meds. via an MD consultation.  A previous poster is correct that often these meds do not seem to have the potency of an actual med. bought back home in Aus. or the US.

A note to Americans, I will get a Doxy. rx. from my MD by telling her that I am traveling to a malarial zone and don't react well to Malarone, the other front-line malarial medicine.  Doxy. is a first-line treatment for Malaria and a script for that reason is not hard to come by in the US.  Bad news is that the price which used to be next to nothing has been jacked up to outrageously high standards b/c Doxy is now being marketed to treat Rosacea and is costing sometimes $300+ for a month's supply.  Malaria tx with Doxy. requires a 30-day supply plus the number of days you will be in the malarial zone.  I usually look online for malarial zones like Siem Reap or Sihanoukville b/c the docs. will check to see if malaria is prevalent there before giving the RX.  Doxy is Thailand is much cheaper than Doxy in the US.  I do not know if this holds true in other Western lands.

Many pharmacists are wannabe physicians and playing to their desire to be a medical care provider (which to a large degree they already are) will get you much farther than simply walking in and asking for a certain med.  Some pharmacists may provide what you want and simply not care but I have gotten much more by describing symptoms and letting the pharmacist do the diagnosis.  A Z-pak on every trip is not a bad idea given that Chlamydia is often asymptomatic in men and 1 gram (1000 mgs) is the dose needed to knock it out.  Doxy will knock out many other things but obviously one should see a doctor back home for a complete STD screening to be on the safe side.  I do this after every trip.
