kartoos
I was looking for sightseeing options in bangkok and found some operators who arrange tour in groups. But I am more interested in a private tour guide who can take me to some places like Tiger Temple. Can anyone recommend a reliable private tour guide and how much do they charge ? Gone Fishin
I been looking around for something similar for when I go back & I came across this bloke. Seems to be pretty good. Had great reviews on tripadvisor http://www.thaitourguide.com/privatebangkoktour.html Cheers Jim
Raistx
Fishin mentioned Tripadvisor. If you ask the same question there, you will get a lot of good responses.

Raistx
Really!?! These guides are more fun http://www.bkk141.co...ery.aspx#search Yes i see your point :) But for 5000b for ST (2 hours), i think i'll stick to the bars for that type of guide. heathcliff81
Anyone tried Travelhub tours? http://www.travelbangkoktours.com/ They have some positive reviews on Tripadvisor but if anyone here used them, it would be good to hear your impressions. Thanks.
kopite
Best thing to do is probably negotiate with a taxi driver.

Thanks. Not trying to be funny mate but those prices look like total rip offs. If your savvy enough to come here for mongering info then do yourself a favour and get info on the best way to see these things. I find it more rewarding too when I organise things myself rather than going via a tour guide.

kartoos
I forgot this thread...so responding late.... I hired Miss Nok from http://treasuretravelthailand.com . She is a very friendly and professional private tour guide. If anyone needs a private tour guide ...i highly recommend her.
