some news and tips about Ubon, maybe i have to go there this year, just for some days.

i never saw this place, it maybe look like Udon Thani? maybe more small?

have some disco or nightlife?

I really love Ubon but it's not really an area for mongering. There are a couple of soapies that mainly cater to thai man. AFAIK no gogo bars in Ubon, just some beerbars. But Ubon is also a unisversity town, so lot's of young students from Isaan who maybe are looking for some sponsorship. In any case you should be able to talk some decent thai, which definately increases your chances.

Try dateinasia or other thai based dating sites first, you'll likely have a few wanting to meet you off the plane after a few days of chatting online first. :D

 

Ubon is a nice place, the massage parlours on the road to the airport will service you well enough.

There are a handful of massage parlours that are all accustomed to offering the usual extras same as Bangkok (full service mostly), a little karaoke bar area with rooms in the back (very cheap, full service), and I had a fair bit of luck with Thaifriendly there. I think Tinder could be okay too (not sure about P4P, but certainly dating, GFs).

There is actually a couple of soapy places (the rooms have a big bathtub with bubbles), but pricey in my opinion.

If you monger long enough in Ubon you find some gems that come and go, especially in the massage parlours and karaoke bars.

I#d been in Ubon in February this year. I hat a contact to a lady via TF. She was divorced with two kids lived in a house with her mother. She was a school director (as I was), I went to her school several times. It was funny.

She took me by her hand when I arrived at the airport, I thought  I've been in Paty 🙂

Then she said to me in the car she wouldn't sleep with me before we are married 🙂  (that was another red flag in a different way 555)

We went out with friends in different places , f.e.Tawan Daeng. Very loud but beautiful young ladies there.

If you are in special sites you will know where to go to meet P4P girls in massage places and others. I found the city very relaxed. But it better you speak Lao becauce people there speak Lao not thai.
