This trip my US Doctor recommended I get a Test for my Liver called a Fibro Scan. I went to the Bumrungrad Hospital website at;  https://www.bumrungrad.com/ and started the process. Got a quote 7000-8000 THB,made the appointment and was surprised at how easy and reasonable it was. When you go to Bumrungrad the first time, you have to go into Admissions and fill out a few forms and provide a copy of your Passport. This took about 15-20 minutes. Left to another floor to see the Doctor for a Consult, proceeded to another exam room to have the test, administered by the Doctor and the results were printed out promptly. Total Cost; 7,465 THB. I am sure it would have been double or more in the US,as not covered by my Insurance Plan. My Liver is in great shape and now I know for sure.

That is great. I am sure you have breathed a sigh of relief. I doubt you would have had a Doctor administer the test in the states. They would review the tests performed at a test mill and you would have the pleasure of paying again to have your results explained.

Yes, so right. The whole process took 1.5 hours. Making subsequent appointments becomes easier once you are in the system. I had an issue come up with my left hand after an aggressive Oil Massage. Being a Massage Therapist myself, hand injuries are a big concern. Called the Hospital, spoke with someone within a few minutes to make an appointment for the next day. Went in to see a Hand Specialist, had a Consult with the Doctor, took 3 X-Rays, prescribed some medicine. This appointment took 1 Hour, 15 minutes.

Excellent Service again.
