I have heard that some indian tailors are scam artists selling suites that have a very low quality.

Golden rule and a bit of a cliche but:

'If it's too good to be true then it's probably very poor quality'

I’ve used Majestic Tailors adjacent to the Majestic Suites on Suk near Soi4. Still using shirts.

The tailor that I used (Royal Tailors) was the best I had found in BKK, but has changed his shop to a sandal shop on the corner of Soi 4.  But his sister and nephew run Hermann's Tailor on Sukhumvit near Soi 4.  He also said that Majestic Suites across the street is excellent quality.  Prices are great vs the US, but not cheap by BKK standards.  But, he quality of the fabrics, and the workmanship is 1st Class.
