CaptJoe
In 1992 I went to Bangkok as a normal photo taking tourist and did not join in the night-life. I am planning to return and this time I want the action of Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, etc. so i will want to stay near but will be on a limited budget. Therefore i am seeking advice and recommendations for hotels in these areas that are in the 500/1000b range. I only need a small room with AC, TV, warm shower, wifi, in-room safe box, and security from theft. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. detectivethai
I know some guys that often stay at the Swan Inna couple times per year and they say it is ok and was around 700pn. Other than that I can't comment as I have never been there
hky117
https://www.agoda.com/nana-tai-suite/hotel/bangkok-th.html?checkin=2017-08-15&los=4&adults=1&rooms=1&cid=1419654&searchrequestid=44859645-5ee1-467b-bc1a-d57f52d9e3ad Stayed here once and it was a real nice place. I tend to stay closer to Soi Cowboy now because I can get on MRT to go to work meetings. Also Agoda does allow you to view and filter prices in Thai Baht. There are a great deal of cheaper options on Sukumvit
LionelJ
Why to stay at a hotel? I would go for air bnb, it's more private. Or you can find apartments for rent here https://tranio.com/thailand/bangkok/, I only used them in Europe, but they do work worldwide.
